[LLVMdev] def-use chains and use-def chains
Hi Duncan Sands, I frankly don't know what a variable gets converted to (SSA register or memory chunk). What I meant is, for example I1: int i, j=10; I2: scanf("%d", &j); I3: i = j + 1; Here I want to know whether the value of j in I1 reaches I3 or not. Best Regards, Srikanth Vaindam you didn't define what you mean by a variable. LLVM has virtual registers which are

[LLVMdev] def-use chains and use-def chains
Hi, I need to find out all the places where the value of a variable is being used. For this I have to implement reaching definitions(def-use chains). When I searched for its implementation I found Iterating over def-use & use-def chains <http://llvm.org/docs/ProgrammersManual.html#iterate_chains>. will this work for finding the places where a variable is reaching? I tried to use

What really happened It was sometime in Aug/Sep in the year 2009. The setting was in the Tampines Central office of Asiasoft Online Pte Ltd. I was having a ***verbal*** conversation with Melvin Lee,

Introducing minister
Hi All, Kubernetes and Openshift have amazing projects called minikube and minishift which make it very easy to setup those distributed systems for easy development. As the Gluster ecosystem grows, we have more external projects which require easy setup of multi node Gluster cluster. Hence, along those lines, I introduce to you...minister (mini + Glu"ster"). Please do check out the

Constrained MLE of fixed mean Singh-Maddala distribution
INTRODUCTION TO THE PROBLEM I am trying to fit a distribution to a dataset. The distribution that I am currently considering is the (3-parameter) Singh-Maddala (Burr) distribution. The final model will fix the mean of the distribution to a given value and estimate the remaining parameters accordingly; however, the code provided below ignores this. For this distribution the three parameters

I've experienced something like this, as well. Though I don't know if this will help, I would make sure that your NT username(s) are appropriately mapped to unix users. You may not be able to view the properties because the permissions/mapped user are mixed up. You can check this by doing a smbstatus - the user names listed as connected are the unix usernames that have been mapped to.

Constraints in projection pursuit regression
Hi, I am solving a projection pursuit regression problem, of the form y = \sum_i f_i (a_i^T x), where a_i are unknown directions, while f_i are unknown univariate link functions. The following is known about each f_i: 1. f_i (0) = 0  (that is, each f_i passes through the origin) 2. f_i is monotonic. Is there a way to ensure that the function ppr() in R produces solutions that respect the
