[LLVMdev] PLEASE help with Alias Analysis initialization assertion at the end of my pass
Yes, it is a pass.
Here is a very general overview of the file structure as far as the AA is
concerned. LLVM is not my strong-suit, I do hardware simulators, not
compilers.

char RelRecovery::ID = 0;
static RegisterPass<RelRecovery> X("relRecovery",

glusterfs brick server use too high memory
Thank you very much for your reply.
I think I found the key to the problem. But, I'd like you to confirm whether this is the issue.
My gluster version is 3.8.9, And I found there is a bug in it, and fixed in 3.8.11:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1431592
A large amount of memory allocated for agf_common_mt_strdup. Everythig else seem to be all right.

[LLVMdev] How to use a FunctionPass in a ModulePass?
Hi, all:
I wanted to use a FunctionPass (e.g. *MemoryDependenceAnalysis*) in a
ModulePass, and then I used the method "getAnalysis<*
MemoryDependenceAnalysis*>(llvm::Function *)" described at
http://llvm.org/docs/WritingAnLLVMPass.html#ModulePass to get the
FunctionPass. But , it still crashed when I invoked this pass in tool 'opt'.
However, if I change my pass to

[LLVMdev] In llvm, how can I delete a whole branch elegantly?
Hi,
I am trying to prune some uninteresting llvm ir branches, corresponding
to the *if-else* condition in the source code. And here is the procedures:
1. Get the BasicBlock containing the BranchInst which has 2
successors(in order to keep consistent with the source code I am using the
llvm ir without any optimizations, so SelectInst/SwitchInst/PHINode is
absent), one of which should be

nonparametric logistic regression based on locally weighted scatterplot smoothing (lowess)
Dear UseRs:
Recently, I have read an article regarding the association between age and
lymph node metastases.
http://jco.ascopubs.org/content/27/18/2931.long
In statistical analysis, the authors stated "Because a nonlinear
relationship between age and lymph node involvement was expected based on
existing literature, lymph node involvement was also regressed on age using

[LLVMdev] How to use a FunctionPass in a ModulePass?
Hi, Devang. Thank you for your reply.
But in my case, my ModulePass requires another FunctionPass (e.g.
MemoryDependenceAnalysis) rather than the opposite direction. Is it also
limited?

Hi Duncan,
I came across something like the following recently which I guess might be
related to your recent work. Any ideas?
$ clang++-tot -cc1 crash_on_invalid.cpp -g -emit-obj -fexceptions

Generate "Compiled catalog"/yaml for a node?
Hi Experts,
I remember we had this discussion before, but could find it.
Can I run a command to generate a "Compiled catalog" for a specific node (on
the master node)? And apply this on the client node? What are the
limitations for doing this?
Basically we have special handling for the webserver/CA part of puppet.
Thank you very much!

[LLVMdev] get LPPassManager to use it in llvm::CloneLoop
Hi,
I try to write a FunctionPass that, among other tasks, has to clone some loops
from the current function.
How can I obtain the LPPassManager in order to use the CloneLoop function.
In a LoopPass this is a parameter for the runOnLoop, but how can I obtain it in
a FunctionPass?
I tried simply by creating a new instance :
ValueMap<const Value *, Value* > VMap;
