[LLVMdev] Cambridge LLVM Social - 20th Feb - Kingston Arms
Hi folks, As the temperature begins to warm up, I expect more people to show up in February. Since the 13th is half-term, the proposed date is 20th Feb. We're changing the pub again: http://www.kingston-arms.co.uk/ It's very close to The Blue, even closer to the station, and also a very good pub. Please let me know if you're coming, so I can arrange a big enough table. cheers,

[LLVMdev] Cambridge LLVM Social
Hello any LLVM people in or near Cambridge (the original one, not the knock-off in Massachusetts), Chandler's closing speech at EuroLLVM indicated that LLVM developers on this side of the pond don't spend as much time in the pub as our Californian counterparts and that this was an important thing to address. To address this, I propose that we start a regular Cambridge LLVM social. The

Cambridge LLVM Social, Feb 7th
Folks, we're trying something new this time. This even will be at the Microsoft Research building, by the train station, and we'll have a meeting room with projector, where we'll share the highlights of FOSDEM. Here's the Meetup event: https://www.meetup.com/LLVM-Clang-Cambridge-social/events/247196412/ This time, it's 6pm ~ 8pm. If people are still brave, we can go to the

[LLVMdev] Cambridge LLVM Social
Hello again LLVM people in Cambridge (or London, or places similarly easily accessible on the train), We plan on holding the next Cambridge LLVM social on Wednesday the 20th of June, from 7:30pm onwards, in The Cambridge Blue: http://www.the-cambridgeblue.co.uk/blueroadmap.html The pub does food as well as beer, so at least some of us will be eating there. I hope to see you there, David

SYSLINUX fails to boot from Kingston DT Micro 3.1 64GB
I've recently got a new flash drive (Kingston DT Micro 3.1 64GB) and found my existing SYSLINUX 6.02 fails to load on it, it just shows the version info and hangs forever. I've tried 6.03 as well as the latest git revision (currently 5483860), they both give me "Failed to load ldlinux.c32" The same builds and config work on my Kingston DT 101 G3 32GB. Both are formatted as NTFS

Hi folks, Next Wednesday, 19th June, we'll be on Fort St. George, at 7:30pm http://gkpubs.co.uk/pubs-in-cambridge/fort-st-george-pub/ Weather permitting, there's a very nice beer garden and a good selection of beers. During this lame summer, we'll probably be repeating the same pub in hope the shy sun will come out, so the next one, on the 17th of July (it's in the calendar),

[LLVMdev] Cambridge LLVM Social on the 16th Jan
Hi all, Happy New Year and all that, we're ready to get social again. Next Cambridge event will be on the 16th of January, at the same bat-time (7:30pm) and back to the Blue, to give London folks a chance to come. We want to rotate to other pubs, so we welcome your suggestions for February. I'll send an email reminder closer to the event. If you haven't done so yet, you can

KINGSTON SOHO Hub
I just ran into a completely unexpected problem. It appears that the Kingston SOHO Hubs don't do TCP. They do NETBEUI very well. After 4 hours of troubleshooting I went home and got my cheap Bay Networks 8 port hub and everything worked. This is to hopefully prevent others from running into the same problem. Nothing on Kingstons site mentions no TCP support but swapping only the hub worked

Just a reminder, the Cambridge social is today. The weather is lovely, so we'll be outside by the river. Hi! There's nothing on the calendar for this month? Anton just mentioned to me that it was today, so just trying to clear up some confusion. Just cycled past The Fort. It's very busy because there's a fair on the common. Any plan B in case it's still full later? Cambridge LLVM Social, May 25th
This Cambridge social will be next week, Wed 25th, 7:30 pm, at the Cambridge Blue. Some people mentioned the need for a different pub. I'm all ears. In case of no replies, the Blue it is. :) When in doubt, check the calendar before leaving home. Socials' calendar shows the time and place:

[LLVMdev] Cambridge LLVM Social - Christmas edition
Hi Folks, It took us a while, but we're doing the social a bit late this month. I understand that many would be on holidays already, but we didn't have much choice. As usual, the LLVM Socials' calendar shows the time and place: https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=as5fh066i94qthrkct1lv7rojo%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=Europe/London Which will be on the 18th, next week,

The Boathouse is nice - on the river and with reasonable beer and food. The Old Spring is also quite nice, has big tables outside, and is usually quite quiet midweek.
