The error we are getting is:
"Undefined Form Value: 25"
We have customers that have a variety of debuggers, and we need to be
able to preserve Dwarf3 compatibility. GDB, Lauterbach, etc.
The patch that caused a problem for us is:

I'd like to summarize what we've discussed for a moment, and propose a patch
tomorrow. It will clear a problem we have, and provide a way to handle a lot
more of these that will come up as we go to Dwarf 5, and the next GDB.
The framework is a set of GCC like gdwarf[2,3,4,5] flags. I can see cases
where compatibility is 2,3 or 2,3,4, so maybe the flag is a number to allow
<=3 tests,

I see this error from GDB 7.0 but GDB 7.2 is okay with it.

[LLVMdev] DWARF version
Hi, I have a newbie question regarding debugging support in llvm.
Is llvm generating DWARF2 or DWARF3? The comments in the trunk source code refer to the DWARF 3 spec, but DWARF_VERSION is set to 2 in Support/Dwarf.h.
What am I missing? Thanks.

Hi All,
I just enabled the generation of dwarf debugging information for Hexagon. It
did not require much save for the setting of a flag in MCAsmInfo.
However, now I see that the ".debug_pubnames" sections is not generated. I
did read discussion about the section not really being useful for debuggers
in terms of accelerated access, but I have code that uses libdwarf to check

I'm trying to write a llvm pass to add debug info into a non-debug-info bitcode
file. I have been read http://llvm.org/docs/SourceLevelDebugging.html. And I use
DIBuilder to produce the debug metadata. I know I can't get all information form
ir code . So I add some manual info as test data. After executing my pass, I can
