My issue is i've had to restore some backup data that was previously archived. The permissions aren't matching up so i'm wanting to use find and xargs to change them appropriately. Normally i do: find . -type type

Manipulating collections
I appreciate this is basic stuff but can''t seem to find the answer anywhere using Google. If someone could point me in the direction of some documentation on this I would be very appreciative. If I have a collection as follows: @stuff = Stuff.find_by_type(''new'') And I then want to add something onto it, how can I add to this collection? Additionally how could I go

Manipulating has_many :through associations
Hi, I haven''t done any associations before, so please forgive my incorrect use of terminology... If I set up a has_many :through association, can I manipulate the associated instances directly (like an Array), or do I need to manipulate the join model? For example, suppose I have two classes and the associated join model: class foo has_many :foo_bars has_many :bars, :through

manipulating the result of by()
Hi. I have the following problem. I use by() to compute a table of observed and expected counts of a variable (eg sobjects who belong to a smoking category) within combination of 4 factors (age class, education, sex, region) for a total 4*3*2*5 tables. I get a list of length 120 and dim 4. Noww I want to sum the tables within the level of one of the grouping variables, eg age class. How can I

manipulating apperance on circleplot
I am having trouble manipulating the simulated effects of a circle graph. I've created a pseudo 3D plot using circle size as 3rd variable. The code I attached has simulated data values for all 3 variable, and is plotting a graph showing an interaction with all 3variables. I am trying to create extreme effects by having the circlesize increase, with increased X value, while holding the other

Is there anyway to manipulate @llvm.var.annotation at the AST level? In the source file you could do something like __attribute__((annotate("GlobalValAnnotation"))); Is it possible todo something like that with a Clang::DeclRefExpr? Could something be done to @llvm.var.annotation "by hand"? How do you access this? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

Manipulating audio in asterisk
Hi All, Is there an option in asterisk to manipulate the audio in a call? I would like to, for example change the voice of one caller but without manipulating the audio that comes from another caller. I have read about something called JACK but i don't know if i can use it for this (or how to use it). I am playing with audiohooks now, but I don't think I can change only my voice - whole

Manipulating the Blacklist database
I am running Asterisk 1.4.2 and recently we changed the SIP provider of our main incoming DID number. The new provider prefixes all CallerID records with a +1 in front of the number, whereas the previous SIP provider did not. Consequently now all my blacklisted numbers aren't matching in my Dialplan, so I'm getting tele-spammed. Is there a way that I can work with the blacklist

2 D density plot interpretation and manipulating the data
My understanding is that this represents bivariate normal approximation of the data which uses the kernel density function to test for inclusion within a level set. (please correct me) In order to exclude the outlier to these ellipses/contours is it advisable to do something like this: SNP$density <- get_density(SNP$mean, SNP$var) > summary(SNP$density) Min. 1st Qu. Median Mean 3rd
