[LLVMdev] Recompiling llvm+clang how-to?
Hello Mr. Ciao and people on our list
I tried this last night and now in the morning I captured the problem status.
Could you please advise me on this problem?
- I downloaded brand new clang+llvm and compiled it as instructed from
the url below.
>> http://clang.llvm.org/get_started.html
- I added some code to tools/clang/tools/driver/driver.cpp

[LLVMdev] Is cross-compiling for ARM on x86 with llvm/Clang possible?
Hello,
Thank you for your kind attention to my issue and your help.
I changed the tool chain and tried again. And there is a little progress
but still have some problem.
Using --sysroot doesn't make clang use linker(ld) in the cross tool.
Most important question is how I can make clang use cross tool linker.
Let me show you my experiment and questions below.
There are two questions.

[LLVMdev] Is cross-compiling for ARM on x86 with llvm/Clang possible?
Hello Gergö, Joerg and people on our list
With your kind answer, I tried to build a hello world program for
ARM(arm-none-linux-gnueabi) on my x86-64 PC.
Thank you we verified the generated bitcode. The only thing remained is
linking.
Let me brief what I did so far.
1. Built Clang/llvm in a way explained in
http://clang.llvm.org/get_started.html on Ubuntu 11.10 x86-64 PC
2. Downloaded gcc-4.0

You forgot about sysroot here.

updating arguments of formulae
Dear R-Community,
I am relatively new with R, so sorry for things which for you might be
obvious...
I am trying to automatically update lmer formulae.
the variables of the model are:
depM= my dependent measure
Sb2= a random factor
OS = a predictor
VR= another predictor
So, I am building the first model with random intercept only:
model = lmer(depM ~ (1 |Sb2))
then I update the formula

Installing libhildonfm2-dev for scratchbox
What seems to be an easy thing to do as to install a library into
scratchbox is being something difficult to debug.
The command "/scratchbox/moz_scratchbox -p apt-get --yes --force-yes
install libhildonfm2-dev" can be run in a linux vm with the account
"cltbld" without any problems but when I try to test it from this same
slave (I remove first the package) or any other slave

[LLVMdev] LLVM build freezes in scratchbox, ARM target
Hi Arvind,
To use llvm inside scratchbox you must use a newer qemu. See
http://setanta.wordpress.com/2007/11/20/qemu-arm-eabi-no-scratchbox/
(in Portuguese, but the important things are in bash :) )
I don't know if it is the problem in this case, but it should be the
first attempt.

configure for ARM Linux
Hi, all,
Samba version 3.2.1 tar ball is downloaded. Next, I'm facing how to
configure it for ARM Linux, but it's not so smooth for me. : (
The following is my environment information:
1. Development environment : Linux PC
2. Cross compiler : scratchbox/compilers/arm-gcc3.4-uclibc0.9.28
3. Configure options : (almost of them are googled)
$ ./configure --without-krb5

Building libvirt for ARM tizen.
Hi there!
I'm building libvirt-1.1.4 on Tizen. I had to modify the spec file:
1. Comment out requirements: xhtml1, scrub, shadow-utils
2. Added defines:
%define _without_selinux 1
%define _without_hal 1
%define _without_libnl 1
%define _without_macvtap 1
%define _without_storage_fs 1
%define _without_network 1
%define _without_sasl 1
%define _without_qemu 1

mips64el stat/time/…? problem
Hi,
I noticed a failure of mksh built with klibc on mips64el.
The failing test, on a high level, is this:
:>a
sleep 2
:>b
test a -nt b
echo $?
This is supposed to echo 1 (false) because a is not newer than b.
The test code is roughly:
// const char *opnd1 = "a";
// const char *opnd2 = "b";
// struct stat b1, b2;
// int s;
return (test_stat(opnd1, &b1) ==

[LLVMdev] Recompiling llvm+clang how-to?
Hello list
I have questions about compiling Clang+llvm.
I compile as the link below instructs.
http://clang.llvm.org/get_started.html
I do on Ubuntu 12.04.
`time make -j5` prints for about 13 minutes to compile a brand new
version of Clang+llvm.
And after this I edit some C++ code(clang/tools/driver/driver.cpp) and
compiles using the very same makefile which was used above sentence.
But this

Re: libvirt-lxc driver on armv7l
Oh, sorry. I try to build libvirt on Tizen, with gbs.
Unfortunately Tizen doesn't have the packages from the "snip list of rpms":)
I tried to install dependencies from http://ftp.pbone.net/pub/fedora/linux/development/20/armhfp/os/Packages/ but that just doesn't work...
Thanks!

I have build llvm inside scratchbox sometime ago. More recently Lauro
pointed out that one should use a patched qemu. Not sure

problem with user defined panel function in xyplot
Hi everyone,
?
I am trying to do a horizonplot using my own time series
data. I know that there is a horizonplot function in latticeExtra, but on
closer examination i think that the graph itself is slightly wrong (it displays
some regions as triangles and i think they should be trapezoids, and the red
regions (that are below the baseline) are displayed on top of the blue areas ?

[LLVMdev] LLVM build freezes in scratchbox, ARM target
Hi,
I am new to LLVM and have been trying to get it working on
scratchbox (ARM target). When I try to build llvm-2.1, the build
freezes with the following output..
