[lldb-dev] [3.7 Release] RC3 has been tagged, let's wrap this up
Still no complete go, doing the tests on i386 failed with some weird sed error: [...] Making Unit/lit.site.cfg for Clang extra tools... sed: lit.tmp: No such file or directory Makefile:61: recipe for target 'Unit/lit.site.cfg' failed gmake[2]: *** [Unit/lit.site.cfg] Error 1 Strangely enough, this does not happen on amd64. Maybe it is some sort of race condition? Did anybody see this

[LLVMdev] tablegen and ptr_rc: PointerLikeRegClass
Hi all, I've been poking at AsmParser support for powerpc64 (ppc64-elf-linux-abi) and have run into some behavior I don't understand with the ptr_rc references coming out of the PPC*.td files when generating the asm-matcher files. For instance : $ ./build/bin/llvm-tblgen llvm/lib/Target/PowerPC/PPC.td -I ~/llvm-head/llvm/include -I ~/llvm-head/llvm/lib/Target/PowerPC/ -gen-asm-matcher

[PATCH] build: add simple custom silent rules for automake

[nbdkit PATCH] ocaml: Make build VPATH aware
The ocaml.opt compiler defaults to building things in the same directory as its input; we need explicit -o options to build in a VPATH $(builddir) when $(srcdir) is read-only (as is the case during 'make distcheck'). We also have to build any side effect files explicitly in cases where we can't directly use -o to control those outputs alongside the final product. Thanks: Richard W.M.

[LLVMdev] Linking with C Library
>> You need to figure out how to pass -rdynamic to the linker, like I said before. http://llvm.org/docs/tutorial/OCamlLangImpl7.html mentions it, but I don't know enough about the ocaml build process to say whether that'll work. I believe I'm already doing that, properly by passing -ccopt -rdynamic to ocamlopt: ocamlopt -cc g++ -ccopt -rdynamic -linkall $(LIBFILES) -o alpha

[LLVMdev] Building LLVM on Windows
Hello, Thanks to recent changes in the SVN, I was able to successfully build LLVM under Windows in the following environments: 1. Cygwin; 2. MinGW/MSYS; 3. "gcc -mno-cygwin" (a.k.a MinGW on Cygwin). For 3., I've had to make a few manual changes to the build system. Care is needed because non-Cygwin external commands require Windows paths and Cygwin's make does not like path
