[LLVMdev] Announcing 3.1 Release Branch Date!
> By the way, we are looking for ARM testers. There was a lot of interest in the 3.0 release for an ARM release. We will try to do one this release on a trial basis. We are looking for ARMv7 cortex-a8 and cortex-a9 on Linux. We have two pandard board (ARMv7 cortex-a9) and perhaps one ARMv6 4-cores board. Do we do a native compile or cross compile for the ARM platform? Regards, chenwj --

[LLVMdev] About LLVM 3.1 ARM testing

But I already told Bill the platform I prepare to test and the testing day begins *tomorrow*, I prefer what it likes now. BTW, what if I use a cross compiler with hardfp enabled to compile LLVM first, then run it on Ubuntu/ARM? Does it achieve your goal, too?

[LLVMdev] RE : svn trunk comilation error
Hi, Sorry I did not precise that, but I'm already doing that... I have, as you say, two different director, one for source and one for build (where I run my configure)... [LLVMdev] Trouble with tweaking test-release.sh script
Hi Bill, The preliminary result of regression test on ARM shows quit a lot failures, which makes me nervous. After discussion on IRC, echristo and chandlerc sugguested the following possibilities, 1) some flag weirdness 2) miscompile via cross toolchain 3) architecture-specific fundamental bug chandlerc told me compile LLVM/Clang without "-fno-strict-aliasing" first, see if

[LLVMdev] About LLVM 3.1 ARM testing
Hi all, Since the 3.1 testing day is coming and be a ARM tester, I would like to make sure everything is O.K. so that we don't waste the precious time. As discussed on the ML before, I plan to cross compile LLVM/Clang first, then run regression test and test suite on the pandaboards. Could someone help me check to see if I miss something? Thanks! Here is the pandaboard configuration,

[LLVMdev] Obsolete PTX is NOT completely removed in 3.2 release
Removed from trunk. Pawel can decide if its necessary to update the tarballs. Thanks for the report! Apparently git-svn does not delete removed directories. [LLVMdev] Update PTX section in CodeGenerator.html
Right, I forgot to update that originally. I also have a separate document in the works that goes into more detail for NVPTX. [LLVMdev] How to write up XXInstFormat.td?
I suggest u grep how this file is used. Since it is included in xxInstrInfo.td and this is its only use, we can conclude that this file does nothng more than defining some helper tablegen classes and we thus can totally move these definitions into xxInstrInfo.td and then remove XXInstFormat.td Regards. 在 2013-2-6 下午4:52,"陳韋任 (Wei-Ren Chen)" <chenwj at iis.sinica.edu.tw>写道: >

[LLVMdev] How to compile this linux-driver like programme into .bc file?
Thank you, Chen! The thing is that I know the Makefile to complete that task. But what I want to know the clang command that can do that. Since the makefile will generate a .ko file while I can use the clang command "-O3-emit-llvm" to generate a corresponding .bc file so the pass can be run on that. Any help? -- 祝好! 甄凯
