[LLVMdev] ARM opcode format
Hello, So the current JIT will be superseded by the MCJIT completely and no further development should be expected for the current JIT? In any case, I am definitely interested in submitting a patch if you could help me by sending me in the right direction, since I really want this working. I managed to reproduce this behavior in LLVM 3.0 by modifying llc to read my .bc file and try to JIT the

[LLVMdev] location of FormattedStream.h
Hi! just a minor thing: FormattedStream.h is in llvm/Support/FormattedStream.h and not in llvm/CodeGen/FormattedStream.h, therefore the comment at the beginning of the file has to be changed. -Jochen

[LLVMdev] Unresolved symbols: LLVMInitializeARM64*
Hi, Compiling on PP64/FreeBSd, I get several of these: /usr/home/kparzysz/bld.lv/tools/llvm-mc/Release+Asserts/llvm-mc.o: In function `llvm::formatted_raw_ostream::~formatted_raw_ostream()': llvm-mc.cpp:(.text.startup.main+0xe4): undefined reference to `LLVMInitializeARM64TargetInfo' llvm-mc.cpp:(.text.startup.main+0x154): undefined reference to `LLVMInitializeARM64TargetMC'

[LLVMdev] Behaviour of outs()?
We've had this argument before. IMO LLVM should not be in the business of closing stdout, and no code in lib/ should print to stdout because users may expect output there (-o -). Should we split llvm Support and ADT?
Changing a header file somewhere and having to spend 10 minutes waiting for a build leads to a lot of wasted developer time. The real culprit here is tablegen. Can we split support and ADT into two - the parts that tablegen depends on and the parts that it doesn't? >From what I can gather, Tablegen currently depends on these headers and all of their transitive dependencies. #include

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Support asm comment output
Here's the first of several patches to get comments into asm output. This one adds comment information to MachineInstructions and outputs it in the generated AsmPrinters. This includes TableGen work to trigger the comment output in the right places. Please review and comment. -Dave -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was

[LLVMdev] Using clang+llvm from Xcode 3 project yields 1.5k linkage warnings
I'm using Xcode 3 to program with LLVM and Clang (both about yesterday's latest revisions), and when I compile, I get 1501 link-time warnings. All those I read were about symbol visibility. Here's an example: ld: warning: namespace::class::method() has different visibility (default) in /usr/local/lib/libclangCodeGen.a(CodeGenAction.o) and (hidden) in
