Attended transfer broken in 1.6.0.25
I have the following problem with the 1.6.0.25 version of Asterisk:
1. A calls B
2. B picks up and talks to A
3. B does attended transfer to C
4. C picks up, but B still hears ringing
5. A and B are connected again (AT timeout exceeded on console)
This is exactly the same problem as mentioned in bug 16816

Internal server error - cannot align media streams - help needed
Hi,
I configured asterisk on redhat linux 9 box. I installed two different
ip softphones (SJPHONE and X-PRO) and got them registered with asterisk.
The call from one phone to another does get routed via asterisk, but
there is one problem coming up. As soon as call is accepted by the end
user , it is automatically disconnected with the error "cannot align
media streams". If I enable SIP

Survival Plots by Strata
All,
I am struggling to create a survival plot using LTRC data for each year
of a 10 year period.
I have a set of individuals (birds) where 'entry' is the day of the
year (1-365) they are released (let out of pens) into the wild (2 year
data snip below). 'Entry' (e.g., day of year the first bird is
released for each year) is highly variable, ranging from 48 to >250.

can't vectorize an expression
Dear R support network
I have a problem that is driving me crazy.
I have a dataframe with about 74000 landscapes which I call "land". A
landscape is a 2km -by- 2km square.
Land has three columns: land$lat, land$long, and land$description.
The last one holds a NON-unique (integer) description of each
landscape. There are maybe 100 distinct descriptions. Identifying
landscapes that

help filtering points from a scatterplot
Dear useRs,
I'm having trouble with what is likely a very simple issue with a simple graph. I have data in the format pasted below - total from which this is a subset is > 3 million rows. I'm plotting "Window" on the x axis, and either of the other two columns on the y axis. In both the second and third columns, the values are in a range from 0 to 1. I want to be able to plot

Asterisk 1.4.5, Cisco 7960, call dropped when sip client put on hold/transfer
Hello,
I've been racking my brain over this for much of the day so I thought
the list would probably be more helpful. A few days ago I upgraded
from Asterisk 1.2 to Asterisk 1.4.5. Everything appeared to be working
properly.
However, on the first business day, we realized that when transferring
calls (not using call parking, using the built in transfer buttons on
a Cisco 7960) would not

Problem with tor2 driver and Zapata Tormenta 2 Quad T1/PRI Card
Hi All,
I'm having a bit of a time getting my Tormenta 2 card to actually be
seen by the system. Whenever I modprobe, the kernel spits out the
following (in addition to the "insmod tor2 failed" messages):
Invalid Xilinx 8 bit Base resource
Registered Tormenta2 PCI
Of course, the module says that its registered a Tormenta2 card, but it
unloads the driver and frees related

dovecot under attack
Hi,
I?ve posted this before but no one was able to help. I can?t figure out
what they are trying to do, and if I should be concerned.
I am running dovecot version 0.99.14 on Fedora Core 4. It appears that my
dovecot server is under attack. This morning in my system e-mail I saw
this:

how to update r to lattest version on debian lenny?
Hi all,
how do you update R on Debian lenny? I have tried to re-install r-base after adding deb http://<favorite-cran-mirror>/bin/linux/debian lenny-cran/ to my backport lists but it keeps installing R 2.7.1.
What should I be doing to get the lattest R release? I need it to install a package (plyr)
Thanks,
David.

With 'mail_debug=yes' I see nothing relevant. Just something like this when I want to expunge deleted mails:
