Build error
Hello, I am building LLVM with ninja on Linux environment and I continue to have the error below. I am thinking that the cause might be my PC not having sufficient RAM memory. In this sense, I extended my swap memory with a swap file (90GB), but it didn't solved the problem. Should I add more physical RAM memory to my PC, or is there any software based solution I can try first? Thank you and

What versions of llvm and llvm-poolalloc should I check out of cvs, in order to use DSA? In a previous post John Criswell suggested checking llvm and llvm-poolalloc out of cvs using the -r release_19 flag. However, there were several post later that said that changes should not be made to the release_19 branch. At any rate, I've not seen any update on which versions of llvm and

[LLVMdev] Problems building LLVM 2.2 for ARM
Hello, I'd like to do some initial experiments with LLVM on embedded ARM (Nokia N800), but ran into a build issue. Could s.o. give me a tip? Thx alot, Tobias P.S.: just as sidenote, LLVM 2.2 builds cleanly on GCC 4.2.3 / Linux. === I'm building on Ubuntu/Scratchbox/ARMEL using GCC 3.4.4 (CodeSourcery ARM 2005q3-2) using ./configure --prefix=$HOME/local/llvm-2.2 --enable-jit

That is slowing down the build visibly, for the speed I should stick with ld at the moment. Good news, I was able to use up to 37 cores for LLVM build with LLD. The build speed, did not measure precisely though, is comparable to the build with GNU ld case. Thank you all for your help! [LLVMdev] llvm-mc build failure
Dear llvm, Recently (approximately a week ago) Clang and LLVM started to failed at building. Assuming it was my incompetence, I cleared everything and started witha fresh checkout (not that I changed it though). I am on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64-Bit. And I configure and compile with CMake. The error message I get at approximatley 66% is as follows: Linking CXX executable ../../bin/llvm-mc
