[LLVMdev] buildbot change for Mips slave - please review
We want to switch running our slave bot with clang/llvm instead of gcc. We have the following proposed patch. We can't test this in our environment but will monitor and adjust if there are issues. svn co http://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/zorg/trunk zorg mips-builder.patch Index: buildbot/osuosl/master/config/builders.py ===================================================================

[LLVMdev] Building LLVM on PPC
Please don't be alarmed by the failed compiles on llvm-ppc-darwin. They are likely not your fault. I'm trying to get a PPC build bot setup (arxan_bellini), and so far it's dying here: Linking CXX shared library ../../lib/libgtest.dylib Undefined symbols: "vtable for llvm::raw_ostream", referenced from: __ZTVN4llvm11raw_ostreamE$non_lazy_ptr in gtest.cc.o

[LLVMdev] Off Topic: Building ld
Thanks for your response, that's kinda what I've gathered over the years. I was hoping that the Xcode project would have "just worked". I'll keep piece-mealing it together, and hope that it works. I'll try to post a radar. Joe Joe Abbey Director of S/W Development Arxan Technologies, Inc. 1305 Cumberland Ave, Ste 215 West Lafayette, IN 47906 W: 765-889-4756 x2 C:

I see, so perhaps the LLVM ARM Backend is in need of a method of organizing volunteer qualifiers, as releases near? Has this generally been organized via this mailing list? [LLVMdev] Build bot setup
Hello, I've got a couple spare machines I'd like to enlist in build bot. I'm told that the llvm lab folks are the go-to group. I've got a couple machines prepped, I just need to register their names and passwords (I think). Let me know what else I need to do! Thanks, Joe Abbey Software Architect Arxan Technologies, Inc. 1305 Cumberland Ave, Ste 215 West Lafayette, IN 47906 W:

[LLVMdev] LLVM Euro Conf 2011 Videos?
Hi Joe, I can answer that, as I'm dealing with it J The videos are stuck currently with our legal department. They've gotten extremely sensitive over it and we have had to get Tanya/Chris to agree to a secure dropbox so we can send the videos to them to put on the website (binaries don't live in SVN). Obviously Tanya is very busy with the release at the moment, so it's

[LLVMdev] Off Topic: Building ld
I have a need to build ld from source to understand an assert(0). I got excited when I found that ld64 on the opensource portal contains an xcodeproj http://opensource.apple.com/source/ld64/ld64-127.2/ But... it seems like I'm lacking mach-o/arm/reloc.h, and dyld_priv.h. I'm doing my best to stitch it all together, but if anyone has any pointers to make this less painful, it would be

[LLVMdev] What are armv7f and armv7k?
I noticed this in Xcode 4.2. My best guess is that armv7f adds some floating-point support and armv7k is security extensions (at least based on historical nomenclature). Are these Apple specific architecture definitions? Is there any developer documentation available? [LLVMdev] non-POD type with llvm-objdump
Mac G4. The non-POD stuff was cleared out by Michael Spencer's refactoring of llmv-objdump. Thanks Michael! Now I just have to figure out how to get Debug+Asserts to build on Mac G4. [LLVMdev] FW: Help understanding r127440
It appears Mr. Cheng may be busy, so perhaps someone here knows? I've been debugging a code generator bug that surfaced while trying to build tinyXML for ARM with LLVM 2.8. The bug seems to originate in DAGCombiner. LLVM 2.9 still has this bug, but top of trunk does not. To narrow down what change fixed it, I've used a binary search of revisions from 2.9 to top of trunk. The

[LLVMdev] Contributing a buildbot for the BPF backend
Hello Marco, Welcome aboard! slaves.py keeps the build slaves definitions, builders.py keeps the builders definitions. You have to have both. The steps of adding a new slave is here: http://llvm.org/docs/HowToAddABuilder.html. Please make sure you done the step # 10 before bringing your slave up, otherwise it wouldn't be authorized by the master and will be blacklisted after multiple
