[LLVMdev] LLVM Backend DAGToDAGISel INTRINSIC
I am currently working on DAGToDAGISel class for MIPS and am trying to figure out a way to use INTRINSIC_W_CHAIN for an intrinsic which can return a value. My intrinsic is defined as: Intrinsic<[llvm_i32_ty],[llvm_i32_ty,llvm_i32_ty,llvm_i32_ty,llvm_i32_ty],[IntrReadWriteArgMem]>; i.e. it has four arguments and one return value In DAGToDAGISel when I try to pass it with four arguments and

[LLVMdev] Difficulty with reusing DAG nodes.
I'm trying to implement *MUL_LOHI for my processor. My processor has mulxss (e.g.) that gives the 32 high bits of a 64 bit multiply. I tried this in ios2ISelDAGToDAG.cpp: /// Mul/Div with two results case ISD::SMUL_LOHI: case ISD::UMUL_LOHI: { SDValue Op1 = Node->getOperand(0); SDValue Op2 = Node->getOperand(1); AddToISelQueue(Op1);

Tablegen pattern: How to emit a SDNode in an output pattern?
I'm trying to write a tablegen pattern to that matches a sequence of SDNodes and emits again an SDNode and another instruction. The pattern I've written looks like the folowing: def : Pat<(foo (bar GPR:$rs1), simm12:$imm1), (bar (BAZ GPR:$rs1, simm12:$imm1))>; foo and bar are SDNodes, BAZ is an instruction. In particular, bar is defined as follows: def bar :

[LLVMdev] How to lower the intrinsic function 'llvm.objectsize'?
The documentation of LLVM says that "The llvm.objectsize intrinsic is lowered to a constant representing the size of the object concerned". I'm attempting to lower this intrinsic function to a constant in a pass. Below is the code snippet that I wrote: for (BasicBlock::iterator i = b.begin(), ie = b.end(); (i != ie) && (block_split == false);) { IntrinsicInst *ii =

TableGen - Help to implement a form of gather/scatter operations for Mips MSA
Hello. Will, thanks a lot for pointing me to the MaskedGatherSDNode and mgatherv4i32. I have to say that the definition of the "multiclass avx512_gather" from lib/Target/X86/X86InstrAVX512.td is difficult to follow and I prefer not to use it. I currently have some serious problems with TableGen - it gives an assertion failure:

[LLVMdev] [PATH] Add sub.ovf/mul.ovf intrinsics
Hi, The attached patch implements sub.ovf/mul.ovf intrinsics similarly to the recently added add.ovf intrinsics. These are useful for implementing some vm instructions like sub.ovf/mul.ovf in .NET IL efficiently. sub.ovf is supported in target independent lowering and on x86, while mul.ovf is only supported in the x86 backend. Please review

[LLVMdev] Tail-calling
Tail calls through function pointers should work.If not please send a testcase. I just added the two examples from the bug (1392) that calls for true tail call support. They work on my machine (-tailcallopt needs to be enabled) ;) That would be commit 56127. regards On Thu, Sep 11, 2008 at 11:21 PM, Evan Cheng <evan.cheng at apple.com> wrote: > Arnold implemented tail call. TableGen - Help to implement a form of gather/scatter operations for Mips MSA
Hello. I wanted to inform that I fixed the bug from the previous email. The main reason for the bug was that I thought that the SDNode masked_gather is returning only 1 value, but it returns 2 (hence, I guess, the earlier reported, difficult to follow, error: "Assertion `New->getNumTypes() == 1"). masked_gather returns 2 values because: // SDTypeProfile -

Hi, In tablegen file inside class we have variables declared inside a class. Say in PPC there is this class BForm<bits<6> opcode, bit aa, bit lk, dag OOL, dag IOL, string asmstr> : I<opcode, OOL, IOL, asmstr, IIC_BrB> { bits<7> BIBO; // 2 bits of BI and 5 bits of BO. bits<3> CR; bits<14> BD; How does the generator match each variable against an

[LLVMdev] How to lower the intrinsic function 'llvm.objectsize'?
Thanks for your reply. I'm attempting to expand KLEE to support this intrinsic function. That's why I need to handle this myself. According to the reply, the correct implementation should first find the definition of the object and then determine the size of the object. BTW, can I just refer to the implementation in InstCombineCalls.cpp. On Wed, Nov 5, 2014 at 2:24 PM, Matt Arsenault
