llvm cross compilation issue
I am trying to compile llvm using a toolchain file where I have specified the target system and compilers as suggested at https://cmake.org/cmake/help/latest/manual/cmake-toolchains.7.html#cross-compilation-tool chain: set(CMAKE_SYSTEM_NAME Linux) set(CMAKE_SYSTEM_PROCESSOR arm) set(CMAKE_C_COMPILER arm-unknown-linux-gnueabi-gcc) set(CMAKE_CXX_COMPILER arm-unknown-linux-gnueabi-g++) But the

Here is for example snippet of "clamscan" test result: [[ Program MultiSource/Applications/ClamAV/clamscan GCC 0.2360 LLC 0.2360

[LLVMdev] Types inference in tblgen: Multiple exceptions
Hi all, I am writing a back-end for a processor that has complex type registers. It has two functional units to perform complex multiplications. From clang, I emulate a complex multiplication using vectors and, at the IR, I got this tblgen-friendly pattern (real component) : (set RARegs:$dst, (insertelt RARegs:$src, (i16 (trunc (add (ncmul (sext (i16

Windows/Clang build instrumented/PGO
Hello LLVM developers, Following some hints on this mailing list earlier this year on how to make clang faster than stock llvm.org builds I have implemented a script that builds a PGO optimized version of clang by following the guide here: http://llvm.org/docs/HowToBuildWithPGO.html This works great on macOS and Linux - we gained almost 15% in our project with this technique. I am now looking at
