[LLVMdev] tblgen(75451) malloc: *** error for object 0x7fff5fbfcbd0: pointer being reallocated was not allocated
Hi Jack, I didn't get this error. Could you try again? Is it one of the release candidates in particular that's failing? -bw On Oct 2, 2010, at 8:04 AM, Jack Howarth wrote: > Current llvm release 2.8 branch at r115409 is broken on x86_64-apple-darwin10. > > #!/bin/bash -ev > export LD=`xcode-select -print-path`/usr/bin/ld > xcode-select -print-path > ulimit -s

[LLVMdev] build warnings
Hi, I haven't seen those errors. Clang and LLVM both build with no warnings on the 3 versions of GCC I test with. MSVC reports loads of warnings however. This also broke the build for MSVC when doing a debug build (though no builder seems to be picking up the failure!). After

[LLVMdev] Build llvm/clang with cmake vs configure produces different set of artifacts
Hi, In another post I was trying to find out how to use libc++ instead of libstdc++ when compiling llvm/clang. I couldnt find the a way to tell cmake to do that. So I switched to using configure to compile llvm/clang. But now I find that the artifacts produced are different. Here are the issues I see: - configure doesnt seem to respect '--prefix' option, it just puts

[LLVMdev] Visual Studio 2005/2008 ClangDiagnosticsEmitter Patch
I'm in the process of trying to build LLVM and clang in Visual Studio 2008. Building trunk of LLVM and clang fails because of an VC STL issue: http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?Fee dbackID=328343 Here's a patch that allows tablegen to compile: Index: TableGen/ClangDiagnosticsEmitter.cpp

clang build failures using Visual Studio
Anyone run into this before? I'm trying to get a Windows native build using Visual Studio of LLVM, Clang, and LLD 4.0.0. So far LLVM built successfully, but I'm getting these cryptic error messages when building Clang: Microsoft (R) Build Engine version 15.1.1012.6693 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation.
