What versions of llvm and llvm-poolalloc should I check out of cvs, in order to use DSA? In a previous post John Criswell suggested checking llvm and llvm-poolalloc out of cvs using the -r release_19 flag. Hello Óscar, The single-threaded build failed the same place as the double threaded build failed which is the same place I just indicated in my previous post. The ../llvm/configure script version failed with OCaml building with about 600 assembler errors since I built it in AMD64 mode. (Oops.) Should I disable OCaml from the configure script and try again? If I try to link HowToUseJIT.cpp against the JIT without also linking the interpreter, I get the following linker error: ld: Undefined symbols: __ZN4llvm11Interpreter6createEPNS_6ModuleEPNS_17IntrinsicLoweringE It's not obvious, from the source, what depends on this symbol, or why GenLibDep.pl didn't detect this dependency. Thank you Patrick! For anyone interested, I was able to get the mainline version of DSA to compile with the mainline version of LLVM. As Patrick pointed out, the mainline version of PoolAllocate does not compile with the mainline version of LLVM. So, I made a small change to llvm-poolalloc/lib/Makefile in which I removed PoolAllocate from the line: PARALLEL_DIRS=DSA PoolAllocate After
