[LLVMdev] Duplicate Function with duplicated Arguments
I'm now writing a pass and I wanna ask a question about how to duplicate the function and add duplicated arguments in llvm, for example: func(int a, char *b) -> func(int a, char *b, int a1, char *b1) I'm now stuck at using "getOrInsertFunction" and how to handle "getArgumentList", please share your opinion, thanks a lot! [LLVMdev] dragonegg now requires clang
Hi Jack, can you please open a bug report asking that llvm-config only provide the minimum set of flags needed to compile code that interfaces with LLVM, rather than (as now) all kinds of unneeded flags such as -g and warnings. Thanks, Duncan. On 07/12/12 18:55, Jack Howarth wrote: > On Fri, Dec 07, 2012 at 06:20:37PM +0100, Duncan Sands wrote: >> Hi Jack, this occurs because you

[LLVMdev] dragonegg now requires clang
Hi Jack, this occurs because you compiled LLVM with clang (right?) and dragonegg is compiled with the same flags used to compile LLVM (it is an llvm-config bug in my opinion that llvm-config output includes these kinds of optional flags). Ciao, Duncan. On 07/12/12 18:11, Jack Howarth wrote: > Duncan, > I am unable to complile dragonegg 3.2 with FSF gcc 4.7 due the the > compiler

[LLVMdev] patch for DragonEgg 3.3
Hi - attached is a patch to enable building DragonEgg (x86_64) for LLVM3.3 and LLVM3.4. That is, add these changes to the 3.3 release, and it becomes possible to build DragonEgg against a llvm3.4 compiler. [LLVMdev] ubsan and log_path?
Quick question... asan/msan/tsan all call __sanitizer_set_report_path(common_flags()->log_path), but ubsan does not (which, in practice, seems to mean that you can't redirect the ubsan output anywhere but to the default logging path of stderr). Is there any reason why this can't happen, or it would be a bad idea? Thanks again, Hal -- Hal Finkel Assistant Computational Scientist

Cannot delete files from samba share
Hi all, Following an upgrade from samba 2.2.8a to 3.0.22 we have been unable to delete files on a samba share using an XP client. We were previously able to delete these files when using 2.2.8a. The problem occurs when we have a particular sub-set of permissions. Directory permissions on UNIX are set to 775 and ownerhips to usera : group1. This should mean that either usera or anyone who

[LLVMdev] Calling a function with bad signature, possible bug.
Hello, I'm having troubles with writing a pass. In my pass I've have created a function that has two parameters - both of type i8*. Initially I wrote this function in C, that I translated it into IR, and then by using llc -march=cpp I got it's implementation in cpp code that actually inserts IR instructions. Then, I inserted this cpp code in my pass. And in some places of a program

[LLVMdev] Queries regarding function's arguments data type
Hi all, I am working on my Master's project in security and I am trying to iterate over the argument list of the function. Basically I need to do following things : 1. Check data type of each argument of the argument list of the function. 2. Based on its data type like character array or integer array, pointer, int, char, take different action. 3. I have added following code to check its

[PATCH 1/2] nv50/ir: fix s32 x s32 -> high s32 multiply logic
Retrieving the high 32 bits of a signed multiply is rather annoying. It appears that the simplest way to do this is to compute the absolute value of the arguments, and perform a u32 x u32 -> u64 operation. If the arguments' signs differ, then negate the result. Since there is no u64 support in the cvt instruction, we have the perform the 2's complement negation "by hand".

Filesystem Permission problems
HI, I would like to copy my file, i.e. test_file.cc on 1 host machine into another user's home directory i.e /usr/adm/ken_lee/ , on a different host machine. These 2 hosts machines, i.e host1 and host2 are on different NIS domains. I tried copying my file into the other user's home directory, by invoking the rsync command on my host machine i.e host1: # rsync -avzo

NFS4 extended attributes confusion
Hi, would someone please clarify the behavior of -X --filter='some_filter' to me? I was trying to copy a file on a NFS4 mount and some extended attributes get transferred only when run as a normal user with --super but not as root. If I have a file on nfs4 mount and I set some extended attributes like this: #rsync --version rsync? version 3.1.3? protocol version 31 Copyright (C)

[LLVMdev] gfortran calling convention
The NIST F77 test suite doesn't seem to be compatible with gfortran at all, so I had to work from my own sample codes, and generate test cases from them. Here's what works now, and I have a separate test case for each of these: statement functions intrinsic functions (print, cos, etc) loops, goto statments scalarized array operations function calls with *no arguments* simple common
