[LLVMdev] correct types for ArgumentList?
I'm trying to create and insert a anonymous function that will make a assignment on a GlobalVariable, based on a existing StoreInst. Once I find this StoreInst(which provides me with 2 Value* objects for me to use) I need to pass it to my anonymous function so it can carry out the assignment. CentOS release 5.3 (Final) yum update error TypeError: unsubscriptable object
Just FYI. This machine has been offline and not updated for several months. I booted it and ran yum update. It generated an error. I googled the error, no hits. I did "yum clean all". Change function call name in a CallInst only in certain functions
You are probably calling setName() on the called Function, which in-turned renamed the called Function instead of replacing the called function. Depending on your use-case, if you are certain that you only need to modify CallInsts, then you could simply call CallInst::setCalledFunction , otherwise it’s probably wiser to use CallSite as a wrapper for both CallInst and InvokeInst. LLVM 3.8 change in function argument lists?

Hi, here I am again with "why is this so" kind of a question. Among different types of MachineOperand there are MO_ExternalSymbol and MO_GlobalAddress. For MO_GlobalAddress, we can get usefull information from the getGlobal() method, which returns GlobalValue*. Wouldn'it it be better is MO_GlobalAddress be called MO_GlobalValue, for consistency? [LLVMdev] Lack of use of LLVMContextImpl::NamedStructTypes
Several people on this list have reported issues with the linker regarding a named StructType instance with the same name in two different modules being resolved into two StructTypes with different names due to StructType:: setName(…) collision behavior. Looking at BitcodeReader::ParseTypeTableBody(…), I don't see use of LLVMContextImpl::NamedStructTypes or of Module::getTypeByName(…). Nor do
