[LLVMdev] AsmPrinter directory
Hi,
While trying to debug a linking problem related to AsmPrinter, I found
following lines in {srcdir}/configure file.
if test -f ${srcdir}/lib/Target/${target_to_build}/*AsmPrinter.cpp ; then
LLVM_ENUM_ASM_PRINTERS="LLVM_ASM_PRINTER($target_to_build)
$LLVM_ENUM_ASM_PRINTERS";
It looks like the AsmPrinters are enumerated only if *AsmPrinter.cpp
file is present in

[LLVMdev] trouble with AsmPrinter registration
Hello everyone!
Could somebody, advice me what's wrong with my AsmPrinter? I've created
ColdFireAsmPrinter.cpp file, and added initialization:
extern "C" void LLVMInitializeColdFireAsmPrinter() {
RegisterAsmPrinter<ColdFireAsmPrinter> X(TheColdFireTarget);
}
But, unfortunately, after build AsmPrinters.def doesn't contain
LLVM_ASM_PRINTER(ColdFire). Maybe I've

[LLVMdev] About test suits Cont1
*1. I have searched the access/setting of LLVMCC_EMITIR_FLAG in the build
directory, recursively, and all the output is what I pasted in last email
(just the same to the that in source directory). Maybe the configure failed
to do it. My command list for building the test suit is as followings:*
*(1) cd ~/SRC_DIR/llvm/projects*

[LLVMdev] r57974 & r57976 for PR2888
Pending positive confirmation in http://llvm.org/PR2886, I'd recommend
that r57974 and r57976 be pulled into the 2.4 release branch and
configure regenerated there.

Runtime-configurable LLVM_DEFAULT_TARGET_TRIPLE by env var
I have been working for extending test coverage for years.
Nowadays, I have several cross-testing (target != host). See
http://bb.pgr.jp/console
Each of them (test-*-linux) is doing;
- Assume a preceding builder passes with warming ccache.
- All compilation units will hit ccache whenever the tree is built before
lit.
- Almost all compilation units will hit ccache except for Host.cpp when

[LLVMdev] Collapse OBJC_CLASSLIST_REFERENCES globals in llvm-link?
Hello list,
I'm wondering about the feasibility of collapsing the following two globals
within llvm-link:
@"OBJC_CLASSLIST_REFERENCES_$_2" = private global %struct.objc_class*
bitcast (%struct._class_t* @"OBJC_CLASS_$_NSString" to %struct.objc_class*),
section "__DATA, __objc_classrefs, regular, no_dead_strip", align 4

I tried to compile LLVM with gcc-4.8.1 -flto. I got the following error, when linking lli, llc, opt, or libLTO.so:

respond_to causes DoubleRenderError?
I have a custom authentication plugin that redirects users to a login
site if they aren''t already authenticated and their session hasn''t
timed out. I had things working fine with straight http requests, but
wanted to add support for ajax requests. I thought this would be a
simple matter of replacing all of my "redirect_to <blah> and return
false" calls with

overzealous help-links.sh script! (PR#1682)
Starting html help in the current version of R has a very annoying
side-effect. It indiscriminantly removes $HOME/.R, and replaces it with a
virgin copy. I discovered that when all of a sudden I got complaints about
my startup "library" not being found.
Below is a modified version of the script that doesn't do this. It is not
perfect yet (it shouldn't try to recreate links

Q: windbind, local groups and domain user membership?
Hi,
I run a Fedora 2 box with Samba 3.0.10 as a domain member. The PDC is a
Win server with AD.
Running winbind, all domain users and groups are visible on the Samba box.
To grant a special group of domain users access to parts of a samba
share, I would like to
- add a *local* group on the samba box (*not* in AD!) and
- add some *domain* users to this new group.
Unfortunately the trick of
