[LLVMdev] [compiler-rt] trunk fails ctest on X86_64 Linux
If this is not the proper place to report this problem, I apologize and would like to know the proper avenue. Information on compiler-rt is very scarce, and I have been unable to get block support on Linux any other way. I'm running X86_64 Ubuntu Linux, and I checked out the trunk of compiler-rt and built it according to the instructions on it's page, and ran the test suite. Three tests

[LLVMdev] Building Compiler-RT on Windows
Has anyone built Compiler-RT on Windows? I am attempting to compile it for ARM, but I get errors from CMake. It appears to be trying to pass VC++ flags to Clang. I am using a version of Clang built from trunk. PS D:\llvm\arm_test\compiler-rt-build> cmake -G Ninja -DCMAKE_C_COMPILER=clang.exe -DCMAKE_CXX_COMPILER=clang++.exe -DCM AKE_RC_COMPILER=rc.exe -DCMAKE_CXX_FLAGS=""

r327904 / 5c4cd77db3a08587c6ac82a8e2c92cd4be0bc200 broke compiler-rt master
Hi, It seems that r327904 / 5c4cd77db3a08587c6ac82a8e2c92cd4be0bc200 broke master on FreeBSD: A direct revert fixes the issue. I'd also be happy with an ifdef though it seems unnecessary. $uname -rms FreeBSD 12.0-CURRENT amd64 $ninja ... /srv/src/llvm/llvm/projects/compiler-rt/lib/sanitizer_common/sanitizer_linux.cc:504:25: error: no member named 'environ' in the global namespace;

Building A Project Against LLVM
I've managed to get 10.0.0 working now.. there were a couple things I had to adjust. The Kaleidoscope example had me doing this before creating the object file: llvm::InitializeAllTargetInfos(); llvm::InitializeAllTargets(); llvm::InitializeAllTargetMCs(); llvm::InitializeAllAsmParsers(); llvm::InitializeAllAsmPrinters(); It turns out I can get away with just this, since I'm not (yet)

Help with build
I need some help getting the LLVM build to work. If this is not the right place to ask, please let me know. I set MSE and Malwarebytes so they ignore the build directory tree and don't complain about a.exe. I also ran this CMake disabling both of them, just in case that mattered; it didn't. Here are the outputs from CMake and the contents of CMakeError.log. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, With 0.0.6pre3: # ./build.sh CMake Warning (dev) in CMakeLists.txt: No cmake_minimum_required command is present. A line of code such as cmake_minimum_required(VERSION 2.6) should be added at the top of the file. The version specified may be lower if you wish to support older CMake versions for this project. For more information run "cmake --help-policy CMP0000".

Building A Project Against LLVM
I decided to start playing around with building my own programming language recently, and to use LLVM to handle the assembly-level details. I'm on Kubuntu 18.04, and I started out using LLVM 6.0 from Kubuntu's packages. I put together code for dealing with my language, then went over the Kaleidoscope tutorials (which have been extremely helpful btw!). I was able to successfully get my

compiler-rt fails to find <stdarg.h> on FreeBSD
I'm unsure why this is failing this week, but when I build for FreeBSD HEAD, I now get a failure to find <stdarg.h>. Very strange. Maybe its missing a -I /usr/include somewhere?
