Why is there no EmitInt64 in AsmPrinter?
Hi all, The AsmPrinter class supports functions like EmitInt8, EmitInt16, and EmitInt32 for writing a 1/2/4 byte directive to the assembly. Each of these calls the MCStreamer::EmitIntValue method with the corresponding size. For some reason, there is no EmitInt64, and I was wondering if there was a fundamental reason why? The EmitIntValue function appears to support 8-byte inputs. I dug into

Why is there no EmitInt64 in AsmPrinter?
DWARF already needs to emit 64-bit values, being the type-unit hashes. How is that being done? (If it's going directly to the streamer, then we're already assuming all assemblers are okay with what the streamer does, and adding an AsmPrinter helper seems very reasonable.) --paulr From: llvm-dev [mailto:llvm-dev-bounces at lists.llvm.org] On Behalf Of James Henderson via llvm-dev Sent:

[LLVMdev] Exception handling in JIT
Hi everyone, Here's a patch that enables exception handling when jitting. I've copy/pasted _many_code from lib/Codegen/DwarfWriter.cpp, so we may need to factorize it, but the functionality is there and I'm very happy with it :) lli should now be able to execute the output from llvm-gcc when using exceptions (the UnwindInst instruction is not involved in this patch). Just add the

scaffolding issue - new action defaults to list action
I''m creating a photo blog with ror. The front end has gone great, so now I''m working on the back end, and was playing with scaffolding. I generated these scaffolds: ruby script/generate scaffold Photo admin/photo ruby script/generate scaffold Camera admin/camera Then, in my routes, I added this line: map.connect ''/admin'',

AJAX & Posting Reccomendation
I''m currently developing a photo gallery website with Rails. Each photo can be commented upon. What I''d like to do is, once the user posts a comment, use AJAX to submit the comment and then automatically update the page with the comment the user just submitted. I also don''t want to use Prototype or the built in AJAX that comes with Rails... it''s too fat

Hi, is there a convenient way to associate/add a comment to a MachineInstruction, so that in the produced assembly file, the comment is added next to the instruction ? Greetings, Jeroen Dobbelaere
