[LLVMdev] r57974 & r57976 for PR2888
Pending positive confirmation in http://llvm.org/PR2886, I'd recommend that r57974 and r57976 be pulled into the 2.4 release branch and configure regenerated there. [LLVMdev] Kaleidoscope Build Error
(cc'ing llvm-dev) Hello Gregory, i just recompiled llvm from scratch, and was able to build the ocaml kaleidoscope bindings. Did you know the llvm's build system already can compile the kaleidoscope tutorials for you? You can run this to build them: make BUILD_EXAMPLES=1 Or just cd into the examples directory in your build directory, and run "make" there. Anyway, I think the

[LLVMdev] Status of Ocaml bindings
Hi all, I'm interested in the LLVM Ocaml bindings so I pulled the current sources from SVN and built them. When I ran the test suite I got the following stats: # of expected passes 2631 # of unexpected failures 7 # of expected failures 11 It looks like some of the failures were due to the Ocaml parts of the tests: FAIL:

[LLVMdev] Kaleidoscope Build Problems - (OCaml)
Hello everyone... I'm hoping that someone can give me insight as to why I am having problems building the Kaleidoscope example for OCaml. Platform: Mac OS 10.8.2 OCaml version: 4.00.1 LLVM version: 3.1 XCode version: 4.5.2 I successfully build the examples when running "gnumake BUILD_EXAMPLES=1" in the OBJ_DIR, however when I try to build them from outside the build tree (ie move

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Make the ocaml source comments work with ocamldoc.
This patch cleans up the code so that it formats nicely with ocamldoc. It does not yet hook into the build system, though. --- bindings/ocaml/analysis/llvm_analysis.mli | 21 +- bindings/ocaml/bitreader/llvm_bitreader.mli | 13 +- bindings/ocaml/bitwriter/llvm_bitwriter.mli | 11 +- .../ocaml/executionengine/llvm_executionengine.mli | 118 ++--

[LLVMdev] llvm 2.2 install and ocaml bindings
I've run into a problem with the ocaml bindings and the jit. It builds fine without the jit, but when I try to include it it tries to use the c object files from the build location, instead of the install location: > llvm-config --libdir --libfiles engine /opt/local/lib /opt/local/lib/LLVMX86.o /opt/local/lib/libLLVMSelectionDAG.a /opt/local/lib/libLLVMCodeGen.a

[LLVMdev] ocaml build system
I have an issue with the OCaml build system and the ExecutionEngine. PR2128 has a patch to change the Interpreter to use libffi. This breaks test/Bindings/Ocaml/executionengine.ml because OCaml doesn't try to link with libffi, even though llvm-config knows that we should: $ Debug/bin/llvm-config --ldflags interpreter -L/home/nicholas/llvm-commit/Debug/lib -lpthread -lffi -ldl -lm

[LLVMdev] llvm ocaml bindings
(ccing llvmdev) Hi Ranjit! I only ported Chris's tutorial and Gordon did the vast majority of the bindings, so they deserve most of the praise. I believe there are techniques for walking over the CFG. You can load up code using Llvm_bitreader, use things like Llvm.iter_globals, Llvm.iter_functions, and Llvm.iter_instrs to walk over the module, and write out a new llmodule using

PHP / XapianQueryParser
Hi everyone, I tried sending a message as a reply a while back on my previous topic, but it didn't go through. (Tried Gmane), not even when I 'authorized' the reply. So I'll just paste it here for reference, below this message. It might help some people. But now I have one other small problem, and I'm not sure if it is actually my mistake (although I'm pretty sure it is

[LLVMdev] OCaml
Hi! I just took another look at the LLVM project and it has come along in leaps and bounds since I last looked. I've been working through the (awesome!) tutorial and am now really hyped about the project. I am particularly interested in using LLVM to write compilers for OCaml-like languages in OCaml-like languages. This requires some core functionality that would be generically useful:

Libreoffice on 7.6
When I try to run libreoffice on CentOS 7.6 for a slide show (using my macro that I have always used since CentOS 6.0) I get a runtime error that "Presentation is not found". I updated then to the current download 6.1.2 and tried again - I get the same error. If I go back to a 7.5 machine - same macro - it works just fine. This happens on any of my CentOS 7.6 machines. Any idea why

[LLVMdev] llvm 2.2 install and ocaml bindings
Erick, I see the problem. The llvm-config linker options are baked into the ocaml library, which is good. But for the execution engine, that link line includes the full paths to some .o files. Those paths come from llvm-config, and they vary before and after installation. (Before install, they point into the source tree as you're seeing.) You could theoretically get working

[LLVMdev] Fibonacci example in OCaml
Here is a complete 104-line native code compiler for a tiny subset of OCaml that is expressive enough to compile an external Fibonacci program: type expr = | Int of int | Var of string | BinOp of [ `Add | `Sub | `Leq ] * expr * expr | If of expr * expr * expr | Apply of expr * expr type defn = | LetRec of string * string * expr open Camlp4.PreCast;; let expr = Gram.Entry.mk
