The test case that you added in this revision fails on several of the power buildbots (for example, http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/clang-ppc64-elf-linux2/builds/20127) and also when I build it locally: FAIL: Clang :: CodeGenCXX/main-norecurse.cpp (2951 of 27722) ******************** TEST 'Clang :: CodeGenCXX/main-norecurse.cpp' FAILED ******************** Script: --

[LLVMdev] [release_30] ppc-redhat-linux (fedora 12 ps3)
It can pass on trunk. http://bb.pgr.jp/builders/clang-ppc-linux/builds/91/steps/test_llvm/logs/stdio Note: You still need to add -UPPC on configure or make. Clang tests will not let passed for me. There might be many issues. It fails on some point on release_30. r143303 in release_30 http://bb.pgr.jp/builders/clang-ppc-linux/builds/92/steps/test_llvm/logs/stdio Failing Tests (5): * LLVM ::

[LLVMdev] Triple for PS3
Hi, I'm doing some preliminary work to get Clang to compile for PS3 targets. As an intermediate step in that direction, could someone do me the favor of reviewing and submitting the enclosed patch, or giving me feedback on it? Basically, I need to be able to differentiate the triple for a PS3 target. These are the triples currently used in the gcc-based compiler from the PS3 devkit:

[LLVMdev] Trouble with tweaking test-release.sh script
Hi Bill, Here is the summary of Clang failures (part of). Clang :: CXX/conv/conv.prom/p2.cpp chandlerc doubts the test itself is fulfill the C++ standard. Although "-fshort-wchar" makes the error disappered, chandlerc think it's not the correct solution. Perhaps it's test bug not clang's. Clang :: CXX/special/class.copy/p15-inclass.cpp Clang

Cell or PS3 Port
Hello, I am interested in optimizing some of R's vector math functions to utilize the SPE units of the Cell processor (commonly found in the Playstation 3) and I am wondering if anyone has already done any work in that area. I can't find anything using the search page or Google. (Admittedly it is difficult to search for information on a one-letter-named programming language whose

[LLVMdev] Assuring ARM code quality in LLVM
Hi all, I was recently investigating the build bot infrastructure and noticed that the arm-linux target is failing for quite a long time. I believe that it means ARM code is not executed all that often in LLVM tests, is that correct? We were wondering what kind of support we could give to make sure ARM code is correct and don't regress, specially before releases (I know it's a bit late

[LLVMdev] llvm/clang test failures on powerpc-darwin8
Hi, I've bootstrapped llvm/clang from svn-trunk on powerpc-darwin8 (g++-4.0.1), and have the following test results to share. Summary below, full log at: http://www.csl.cornell.edu/~fang/sw/llvm/r146586-powerpc-darwin8-results.txt The only edits required were those I posted to llvm-commits yesterday (re: "some missing clang libs"). And I also edited LitConfig.py to point to

[LLVMdev] DebugInfo: LTO Metadata Size reduction by removing some cycles

CentOS 5.1 on PS3
Hi All, Does anyone here on the list have CentOS 5.1 running on a PS3? I would like to look at integrating a couple of PS3 nodes into our cluster for it's ability to use the Cell processor inside and was wondering if anyone had any experiences.

PS3
I have been planing on installing a Linux OS on my ps3 for some time and I came across a site that said that wine would allow me to play PC games on it. If this is true what OS would be best and other stuff like that.

[LLVMdev] RFC: LLVM Release Documentation Changes
Hi all, I'm working up some changes in the way LLVM is released. Attached is the latest HTML file for HowToReleaseLLVM.html. The major change is in how we do branching and tagging. I want to use a hierarchical version of tags for the various release candidates and final release. The structure of the tags would be something like this. The 2.9 release branch:
