[LLVMdev] Flag operands and load/store DAG nodes
I notice that many DAG nodes like the copy-to-register operation have the ability to take an optional flag parameter, but that the load/store nodes do not (at least as of 2.3). Is it possible to pass flag operands through load/store DAG nodes?

Sorry, I meant to say, I added code to prevent llc from running machine verifier after delay slots are filled. MipsInstrInfo::AnalyzeBranch generates incorrect results after delay slots are filled. [LLVMdev] CriticalAntiDepBreaker rewrites a register operand of a call instruction
Hi Anton, I ran llc with -verify-coalescing. There were no error messages. Then I added code in MipsPassConfig::addPreEmitPass() to prevent machine verifier from running post delay -slot-filler, and ran llc again. Again, there were no error messages. This is the list of passes run after post-RA scheduling. machine verifier is run twice after post RA scheduler (and CriticalAntiDepBreaker) is run.

Selection DAG adding node question
I am having trouble adding a node to the selection DAG (e.g. during combine) E.g. node1 -> use1, use2 Now if you add a node2, with node1 -> node2 with node2 number of output values equal node1 number of output values, then combine as well as e.g. promotion pass with replace all of node1's uses with node2, leaving node1 dead. While this is kind of expected, does this mean a) always

+llvm-dev Can you give a bit of background on what you're trying to address here? After reading through the discussion and seeing that this is a best effort flag, I'm not sure that a function attribute is the best way to describe this. I'm open to being convinced it is, but I'd like to hear a bit more about the use case and get broader visibility on the proposal first.

[LLVMdev] Question about post RA scheduler
Thank you for your suggestions. I implemented the first approach (provided the byval argument and offset to MachinePointerInfo) and it seems to have fixed the instruction ordering problem. It was a lot simpler than initially expected. In this particular case, is the user responsible for providing alias information to MachinePointerInfo to guarantee instructions are emitted in the correct order?

To be clear, this is a debuging aid only? It's not something required for correctness? I'm somewhat bothered by that because it seems like it would be a useful implementation tool for higher level languages. [LLVMdev] Does Mips resolve hazard in pre-ra-sched or post-ra-sched?
Akira, Thanks you for response. I understand Post-RA schedule make uses of scoreboardHazardRecognizer. But I found mips codes are good enough by default. basically, I can not easily eyeball any bubbles. I don't understand how they can do that without post-RA-sched. pre-ra-scheduler eg. (SelectionDAG/ScheduleDAGRRList.cpp) has little information and they can only schedule node in topology
