ICE in release/9.x when using LLVM_ENABLE_MODULES

Scalable Vector Types in IR - Next Steps?
Hi Alex, We've only recently managed to get the core scalable vector IR type into the codebase (so it will be present in 9.0); that allows you to write IR with scalable vector types, but there's no backend able to generate code for it yet, and as you mention no support for stepvector (or vscale). I had a phone conversation yesterday with Graham, Francesco, and Kristof. There is one more reason to go with the native type change: ARM has already written the code with the SV types, and they have patches ready to be reviewed and integrated in LLVM. As I don't want to stand in the way of getting SVE in LLVM as soon as possible, I will also support the integration of the existing patches

[LLVMdev] assert when mixing static and non-static members with an external AST source
So, when performing expression evaluation, lldb trips over an assert in clang/lib/AST/RecordLayoutBuilder because ExternalFieldOffsets doesn't contain a FieldDecl that updateExternalFieldOffset expected. Overloading in R
I have been trying to write a new class that reimplements the vector class. As a test of my overloading I decided to try and and call t.test on two vectors which were objects of my class rather than the default class. The overloaded length I wrote seems to work correctly. Selecting out certain values from a MATRIX
I have two objects, one matrix and one vector. I want to use my vector to subset certain values out of my matrix. FYI, this turned out to be an error of omission in LLDB in SymbolFileDWARF, because the case of a non-defining external (i.e. a static member variable) wasn't being handled with a variable lookup to dig up the location.
