I assume you are asking whether control flow can pass from BasicBlock A to BasicBlock B. In that case, yes: all you need to do is look at the terminator instruction of BasicBlock A and see if it can branch to BasicBlock B. There's a new indirect

[LLVMdev] how to check whether from basicblock A we can go to basicblock B within the same function?
Dear all, Is there a way to check whether we can go from A to B within a function when I'm writing a pass? Thanks. Best, --Wenbin -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: <http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/attachments/20100827/8cf26762/attachment.html>

[LLVMdev] BasicBlock predecessors list
Hi there, I'm trying to get a list of predecessors of a BasicBlock. I'm using a code similar to that on here (http://llvm.org/docs/ProgrammersManual.html#iterate_preds), but it appears to be more nodes been iterating that it should. Now, when I print out the llvm IR, I get something like: […] while.body: ; preds = %7, %while.cond […] for a code that

[LLVMdev] passing parameters for a analysis pass
You can use llvm::sys::Path::GetTemporaryDirectory() and put the inputs and outputs there. [LLVMdev] Error while compiling mysql using LLVM-gold
Thanks Rafael. I compiled llvm-gcc by myself, and I can compile mysql now. Right now, when I run llvm-gcc a.c -emit-llvm -use-gold-plugin -Wl,debug I got ld: error: cannot open debug: No such file or directory collect2: ld returned 1 exit status I do not know why this is happening. Some things to check: Run llvm-gcc a.c -emit-llvm -use-gold-plugin -Wl,debug This will print the link command line. What is it? Do you get the same error messages if you run just that? Are gold and the plugin linked with the same libstdc++? Cheers On Jun 5, 2010 11:50 PM, "Guoliang Jin" <jingl1345 at gmail.com> wrote: The errors are /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version

[LLVMdev] passing parameters for a analysis pass
If you think a commandline option is the way to go, LLVM makes it pretty easy to do so, see the documentation here: http://llvm.org/docs/CommandLine.html . Mostly you can just add an appropriate "cl::opt<string>" option (for your filename, for example) and you're on your way. ~Will On Wed, Jul 7, 2010 at 9:55 PM, Reid Kleckner <reid.kleckner at gmail.com> wrote: >
