[LLVMdev] Possible bug or misunderstanding of feature LLVMConstIntOfString
Hi All I am a novice LLVM user trying to use LLVMConstIntOfString using the c api to get a integer of arbitrary size from a hexadecimal string. Example code follows: LLVMContextRef context = LLVMContextCreate(); LLVMValueRef value = LLVMConstIntOfString(LLVMInt64TypeInContext(context), "0x0000000f0000ffff", 16); This is working properly as expected. However I have noticed that

[LLVMdev] llvm-c headers: How to call external function?
Hello, I have a question concerning llvm-c. I have set up a function that needs to invoke an external method, in a other library. It has the following signature: void* NSFullUserName(void); The void* can be replaced with a i8*, that far I was able to get, but when my call is invoked, the engine gives me the following message: LLVM ERROR: Tried to execute an unknown external function: i8* ()*

Splitting vector into individual elements
Is there a means to split a vector into its individual elements without going the brute-force route for arguments to a predefined function call? offred.rgb <- c(1, 0, 0) * 0.60; ## Brute force style offred.col <- rgb(offred.rgb[1], offred.rgb[2], offred.rgb[3], names = "offred") ## Desired style

Asterisk 1.8.3.2 core dump chan_sip.c
Hello, I'm testing with asterisk 1.8.3.2 and come across this: Call from one extension to another with: [macro-internal-call] ;ARG1=extension to call exten => s,1,Set(TOCALL=${DB(SIP/${ARG1})}) exten => s,2,Dial(SIP/${TOCALL},60,tT) ... As I had no entry in the asteriskdb, so the SIP uri was empty, and asterisk core dumped with: gdb output: #0 0xb7c7db33 in strchr () from

mcjit C interface problems
Hi, I'm attempting to use MCJIT with the C interface with llvm-3.9.0, and it doesn't seem to work. This code is derived from Paul Smith's example code: int main(int argc, char const* argv[]) { LLVMModuleRef mod = LLVMModuleCreateWithName("my_module"); LLVMTypeRef param_types[] = {LLVMInt32Type(), LLVMInt32Type()}; LLVMTypeRef ret_type =

[LLVMdev] Crash in JIT
Hi David, I'm not certain, but to me the "LLVMSetTarget(module, "i686-apple-darwin11");" line looks suspicious. I'm not familiar with all the ins and outs of how target triples get handled, but it looks to me like that's requesting 32-bit code. I think that if you omit that line completely then the target will be inferred from the execution environment. My best

[LLVMdev] Crash in JIT
Hello, [Using LLVM r155315, according to `svn log | head`] I am experimenting with programatically building and jitting functions in a module, and I seem to be coming across a crash in some generated code. Using the llvm-c interface I build up the module which dumps like this: ; ModuleID = 'MyModule' target datalayout = "i686-apple-darwin11" target triple =

[LLVMdev] How to call the llvm.prefetch intrinsic ?
Alexandra, I'm not sure what you mean by "replace", but I have code that does this to insert prefetches: Type *I8Ptr = Type::getInt8PtrTy((*I)->getContext(), PtrAddrSpace); Value *PrefPtrValue = ... IRBuilder<> Builder(MemI); Module *M = (*I)->getParent()->getParent(); Type *I32 = Type::getInt32Ty((*I)->getContext()); Value

SSHA512 auth not working
I'm trying to configure SSHA512 passwords and when testing discovered that they were not working as expected. At first i was using Centos 6.4 which doesn't have the glibc CRYPT newest functions ($6$salt$pass) so had to rollback to the Dovecot format ({SSHA512.HEX}saltedpassword+salt ) but I'm unable to let dovecot authenticate properly. [LLVMdev] Ocaml bindings for execution engines

Added AllocaInsts are relocated in stack
Oh, I see. Regarding single stack allocation i am not sure how it is possible. For example for each local variable, I need to maintain a 4-byte metadata. for example, if it is a 4 bytes variable (e.i. int), I need to allocate 8, or if it is a struct, let's say 26 bytes, I need to allocate 30 bytes. How it is possible using AllocaInst? Thanks in advance On Fri, Sep 21, 2018 at 9:36 AM Tim

function can permanently modify calling function via substitute?
Dear R-devel: The following code seems to allow one function to permanently modify a calling function. I did not expect this would be allowed (short of more creative gymnastics) and wonder if it is really intended. (I can see other ways to accomplish the intended task of this code [e.g. via match.call instead of substitute below] that do not trigger the problem, but I don't think that is

[LLVMdev] llvm-c: Types of functions
Hi All, I'm beginning to learn & explore the LLVM API via the C bindings. Am running into some troubles but at the moment cannot tell if this is just my misunderstanding/misuse of the API, or a bug somewhere. I have a bitcode file generated with 'clang --emit-llvm' and I know this is good because I can run the 'test' function inside with lli, no problems. However I run

Hello everybody!!! I really need your help guys, I am using the AGI mode in meetme application, and I want that AGI should wait for an input from the client/user i.e. a digit and then proceed, but I have used that AGI function agi->wait_for_digit(), but no use....my agi just passes, or ignores this function, where AGI should stop here and wait for the input.... .....my extension in my

define intrinsic function with pointer-typed parameter
Hi, If I define a intrinsic function with pointer-typed parameter, for example, def llvm_foo_ptr_ty : LLVMPointerType<llvm_i16_ty>; def int_foo_get : Intrinsic<[llvm_foo_ptr_ty], [llvm_foo_ptr_ty, llvm_i32_ty], [IntrReadArgMem]>; How to lower it for the backend? I'm not sure what kind of register (i16 or i32 or i32) is needed in this case? If the parameter is
