-msave-args backend support for x86_64

[LLVMdev] Properly handling mem-loc arguments when prologue adjusts FP.
For my target, I handle incoming memory arguments by creating a store to memory (in LowerCall, [1]), then creating a fixed object on the stack and loading from it (in LowerFormalArguments[2]). This approach was based on MSP430. I now have the problem that the resulting loads in my output assembly are done assuming that the call stack looks something like: ------ MemArg ------ MemArg ------

reducing the stack size
hi all, the stacksize required for encoder and decoder are 32Kbytes and 16 Kbyes respectively. i changed it to 20Kbytess and 8Kbytes and it seems to work. but need to trim further. can someone point me in the right direction to further reducing the stack size? thanks! cheers, tk

rsync using ssh get stuck
Hi, We started working with rsync to sync data between remote sites. We started seeing many stuck rsync processes. Usually it happens in the ssh stage while the ssh issues a "select" syscall on fd #4 while it is long gone. rsync out of memory problem
Using an rsync (V2.5.6, Tru64 Unix 5.1A) command of the form: rsync -avz --delete /some/dir remhost:/some/other/dir where /some/dir has about 460,000 files in it, I get: building file list ... done ERROR: out of memory in make_file rsync error: error allocating core memory buffers (code 22) at /usr/common/src/rsync-2.5.6/util.c(115) rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (8 bytes read so far)
