[LLVMdev] ModulePass that requires FunctionPass
Hi Devang, You recently mentioned that the pass manager now allows a ModulePass to require a FunctionPass. I just tried it but ran into errors. Could you please take a look to see if I did anything wrong? Thanks! Basically I changed the HelloWorld sample pass to be a ModulePass and tried to use the LoopInfo pass inside the runOnModule routine. See below for the source code and error messages.

[LLVMdev] Creating an LLVM backend for a very small stack machine
Hi Wesley, I've done quite a lot of work on register allocation for stack machines. You might want to look at my papers: http://www.dcs.gla.ac.uk/~marks/euroforth.pdf http://www.dcs.gla.ac.uk/~marks/thesis.pdf Good luck, Mark. -----Original Message----- From: llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu on behalf of Wesley J. Re: Open source IP phone, maybe?
Hi! I think it is a great idea. The DS80C400 needs external memory, and/or flash. It have the Ethernet integrated, but it is really slow (it is 8051 architecture), and yes, I know it can go up ti 75Mhz, but only gives 18MIPS max. I would use ATmega128 from atmel (16MIPS at only 16Mhz), take a look at: http://www.ethernut.de (project using mega128 with Ethernet, includes schematics). It

Re: Open source IP phone, maybe?
I concur with Jose. The Atmel AVR series packs a lot of bang for the buck. They also come in a 3.3v low power version for use in battery powered systems. [LLVMdev] Group Rate At Cupertino Inn For Developer's Meeting
Good News, Because the meeting was originally scheduled for Apple, Cupertino Inn has allowed us to use the Apple discount rate ($123.00 instead of $185.00). You should request that rate if your stay involves checkout on any weekday (i.e. thursday night). However, that rate is flat for any night. So, if you want to stay over Friday night into the weekend, just get their usual (already discounted)

All, I'm pleased to announce that we will be holding a 2007 LLVM Developer's Meeting in a few months. This is just an announcement that the meeting will go forward. Further details will be forthcoming.

[LLVMdev] Developer Meeting Location Update
Hi Everyone, As it turns out, all of the meeting rooms at apple are booked for the devmtg, due to close proximity with the WWDC conference. As such, we found a great room at the Cupertino Inn. This shouldn't affect travel plans, as it's right across the street from Apple. If you're planning to stay at the cupertino inn, you just won't have to walk anywhere :) -Chris --
