[fdo] kemper maintenance this weekend
Hi all,
I'll be dist-upgrading and moving kemper to a VM this weekend, so expect
some downtime, starting Saturday morning, UTC.
kemper is the primary git repository hosts, so this means any git
repositories will be offline for the duration of the migration.
Please drop by #freedesktop if you have any questions.

[fdo] git downtime this weekend
Hi all,
I'm planning on upgrading the git server this weekend, starting Saturday
morning CEST. Git access in particular will be affected. Bugzilla,
email and web pages should operate as normal. I don't know exactly how
long it will take, but I estimate at least a few hours.
Feel free to stop by #freedesktop if you have questions.
Cheers,

Mailing list / dovecot.org down this weekend
Apparently the building where dovecot.org server is located will lose
its electricity for something like 9-26 hours this weekend. During
this time the mailing list will be down, but the web, hg and wiki will
be available in another server. (Well, the wiki depends on if I can
get moinmoin fixed on the server.)

attempted upgrade this weekend
Morning,
This weekend I attempted an upgrade of my primary samba server from 3.0.24
to 3.3.3. When testing this primary server after the upgrade I had a
few issues, so rolled back the upgrade until I can find solutions. This
server also has the OpenLDAP server local to and co-located with samba.
The two things that initially didn't seem right are that each time I
logged into a windows XP box

chron is.weekend() function
Hello,
I have a dataset which has fields giving both calendar date and weekday. I
know better functions are now available, but I am still using chron because
of the is.holiday() function and a homemade (even Heath Robinson would be
ashamed) is.daylight() function.
As a check for typos in the data input, I checked that the dates matched the
weekdays. I'm getting some confusing results

Hey Tanya, I see a bunch of commits by Chris, does that mean the

0.3.7 release this weekend
I''m doing another 0.3.7 release this weekend which will roll in changes from
Luis for the win32 service, and some enhancements to the mongrel_rails Unix
runner which makes it behave better with switchtower.
There''s also a new document on setting up a proxy with lighttpd to do simple
clustering on the site:

[LLVMdev] Potential Downtown for Maintenance This Weekend
Dear All,
During the weekend between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm CDT, our IT people
will be upgrading the storage infrastructure used by the University of
Illinois Computer Science Department. While I do not expect this work
to affect any of the LLVM services (those provided by llvm.org or the
mailing lists run by the department), I wanted to let everyone know in
case our IT people did not

[Gluster-devel] GlusterFest Test Weekend - 3.5 Test #1
Incidentally, we're wrapping this up today. If you want to be included in the list of swag-receivers (t-shirt, USB car charger, and stickers), you still have a couple of hours to file a bug and have it verified by the dev team.
Thanks, everyone :)

[LLVMdev] LLVM Service Outages
Dear All,
The Siebel Center (the building in which the llvm.org server is housed)
is undergoing some significant work on its cooling system this weekend.
Air conditioning will not be available, so we have been advised to shut
down systems until the cooling work is done.
This outage affects the following LLVM services:
1) The LLVM web server and SVN server will be unavailable starting noon

Weekend Puzzle: computer posing as an UPS
Follow-up:
* Powering the Raspberry Pi5 from an USB-C port wired on the motherboard
was much more promising, it survived over 8 hours building NUT in a loop

Pi).

xiph.org server replacement this weekend
Everyone,
We're replacing the server that hosts xiph.org and attendent services
this weekend. This will help with the load issues and flakiness we've
been seeing.
All the sites will be down during the changeover, and it will take a few
hours to get all the services back up on the new hardware. We appreciate
your patience.
If you have an account on the server, now would be a good time
