[LLVMdev] LLVM-GCC build failed
Hi      I am using LLVM and LLVM-GCC from SVN (version number: 122880). And I am using arm-2009q1-176-arm-none-linux-gnueabi-i686-mingw32.tar.bz2 or arm-2007q3-51-arm-none-linux-gnueabi-i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar.bz2. I tried the automated scripts (create-snapshots.sh and build-install-linux.sh) that are in the LLVM repository for building crosstoll for ARM

[LLVMdev] Assertion when loading bitcode

You'd also need the exact lli command line > you're using, but I see that at the bottom of your crash dump. I have changed my compiler to Sourcery G++ Lite 2009q3-67 but i still get the same error.

[LLVMdev] OT: Python on LLVM
Hi, Slightly off-topic (as it's not directly about using or developing LLVM): http://code.google.com/p/unladen-swallow/wiki/ProjectPlan "Our long-term proposal is to replace CPython's custom virtual machine with a JIT built on top of LLVM, while leaving the rest of the Python runtime relatively intact." Just curious, has anyone here heard more about this project? Regards,

[LLVMdev] __clear_cache on ARM
Hello, I've just found that the current SVN trunk has some toolchain dependencies on ARM cross compiling. i.g. the __clear_cache in lib/System/Memory.cpp is not defined in my toolchain (codesourcery 2007q3, gcc version 4.2.1). What is the official(?) toolchain version used for ARM cross-compilation? Best, Hyok -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

[LLVMdev] LLVM for ARM target
> Can you please tell me what should I do at this point? How to get the standard C library for ARM around? The best thing is to grab some description how to build "normal" gcc for your target and make sure all the steps described there will be ok. After this you can substitute normal gcc with llvm-gcc and start the same scenario from scratch. I believe this is the best way how the

[LLVMdev] llvm-gcc cross compiler for ARM Linux failing
I suspect that my llvm-gcc cross compiler is using the wrong assembler because it does not recognize "-mcpu=cortex-a8". I was trying to build a cross compiler for a Mac host. Now I am trying to build on x86_64 Linux. I am targeting a Beagle board with an ARM Cortex-A8 and Angstrom Linux. TRIED: to use the script in llvm/utils/crosstool/ARM/build-install-linux.sh I used the recommended

[LLVMdev] Can anyone please give any suggestions?
I tried the automated scripts (create-snapshots.sh and build-install-linux.sh) that are in the LLVM repository for building crosstoll for ARM (http://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/llvm/trunk/utils/crosstool/) but get the following error for building llvm-gcc (llvm built successfully):   'arm1026ej-s' is not a recognized processor for this target (ignoring processor) 'arm1026ej-s' is

We've only added support for ARMv7 (including cortex-a8) in llvm in the last week or so, and the associated changes for llvm-gcc are still pending. Unless you need specific

[R-sig-ME] lmer() - no applicable method for 'profile' under R version 2.15.1
Hi all, I was working with the "MEMSS" & "mle4" library's under R version 2.15.1. apparently some practical functions of do not work under R 2.15.1. After searching the archives i found a mail thread on this subject, stating that these problems were partialy solved for "R 2.12.0" but only for "lmer()" not for "glmer()". Is someone aware

build failures with 2.6.33-rc
Hello, I'm trying to build klibc with 2.6.33 (currently .33-rc5) and can't seem to build for either x86 or ARM. I'm using the master branch from git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/libs/klibc/klibc.git. The include path fix[1] got me past the first hurdle, but I still run into various compiler errors, so it makes me think I have something more basic that is wrong in my setup. Below is the
