df does not show full volume capacity after update to 3.12.4
Hi Eva, I'm sorry but I need to get in touch with another developer to check about the changes here and he will be available only tomorrow. Is there someone else I could work with while you are away? df does not show full volume capacity after update to 3.12.4
Hi, I think we have a workaround for until we have a fix in the code. The following worked on my system. Copy the attached file to */usr/lib*/glusterfs/**3.12.4**/filter/*. (You might need to create the *filter* directory in this path.) Make sure the file has execute permissions. On my system: [root at rhgsserver1 fuse2]# cd /usr/lib/glusterfs/3.12.5/ [root at rhgsserver1 3.12.5]# l total 4.0K

df does not show full volume capacity after update to 3.12.4
Amar, Thanks for your prompt reply. No, I do not plan to fix the code and re-compile. I was hoping it could be fixed with setting the shared-brick-count or some other option. Since this is a production system, we will wait until a fix is in a release. df does not show full volume capacity after update to 3.12.4
Hi Freer, Our analysis is that this issue is caused by https://review.gluster.org/17618. Specifically, in 'gd_set_shared_brick_count()' from https://review.gluster.org/#/c/17618/9/xlators/mgmt/glusterd/src/glusterd-utils.c . But even if we fix it today, I don't think we have a release planned immediately for shipping this. Are you planning to fix the code and re-compile? Regards,

Nithya, I will be out of the office for ~10 days starting tomorrow. Is there any way we could possibly resolve it today? df does not show full volume capacity after update to 3.12.4
The values for shared-brick-count are still the same. I did not re-start the volume after setting the cluster.min-free-inodes to 6%. Do I need to restart it? Nithya, Responding to an earlier question: Before the upgrade, we were at 3.103 on these servers, but some of the clients were 3.7.6. From below, does this mean that ?shared-brick-count? needs to be set to 1 for all bricks. All of the bricks are on separate xfs partitions composed hardware of RAID 6 volumes. LVM is not used. The current setting for cluster.min-free-inodes was 5%. I changed it to

i'd like to know if there is any plan or existing work to add a Aho's trig language like code generator generator? "...If you are starting a new port, we recommend that you write the instruction selector using the SelectionDAG infrastructure." any other things i should know before i write one? thank you.

Sam, For du ?sh on my newer volume, the result is 161T. The sum of the Used space in the df ?h output for all the bricks is ~163T. Close enough for me to believe everything is there. The total for used space in the df ?h of the mountpoint it 83T, roughly half what is used. Relevant lines from df ?h on server-A: Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/sda1 59T 42T

Can anyone tell me whether I have a routing problem, or an openVPN problem, or something else? I''ve stared at this for so long I think I must be looking in the wrong place! I have 3 machines: Machine A has single ethernet card, eth0, 192.168.5.5 Machine B has eth0, 192.168.5.? on the local net, eth1, 81.2.x.y to the internet, and

I would like to contribute some automation scripts.
I have some scripts and tools that i have packages up with some documentation that i would like to contribute to the project. They are based on the ntuser_import-1.0.1.tar.gz package in the contributed directory on your FTP server. Basicly its a workaround for syncing unix user id's with an NT domain controller with a samba domain member server that is running on an OS that does not support

What I would like to contribute with
Hi, I saw some errors in the "Amamda backup" article that I would correct and then I would like to start a "Banners" article that describes what files have what meaning like, motd, issue, issue.net and what info they should/could contain. I have also worked a lot with Asterisk and is keen to move the Fedora 1.4 to CentOS addons but I don't know if this is the right forum.

I apologize if you got this twice.] Hello everyone, I would like to participate as a student in google Summer of Code and I was very excited to discover that Xiph is one of the mentoring organizations, because I am a big fan of both Vorbis and Theora. So I would love to contribute to a Xiph.org

[LLVMdev] Re:Re:Is there any way to modify basic block like adding junk code
Thanks Chris. I did inserting function into code before using the way you mentioned, such as call a external function. But coud I insert some assemble instructions into *.bc ? what I want to do is to implement polymorphic engine like ADM. It can change the binary code which looks like different but the functionality is exactly same. The simple way to do it is to add some junk code like NOP(
