[LLVMdev] Compile, link and run on the fly
Is your compiler written in C++ or something that can interface with it easily? If so, you should probably check out the JIT, and the tutorial here: http://llvm.org/docs/tutorial/ In particular, this bit is relevant to using a JIT: http://llvm.org/docs/tutorial/LangImpl4.html#jit It sounds like you're generating LLVM IL and dumping it to a .ll file in your own compiler, so you'll

Plot data in sequence
Hi r-users, I would like to draw line plots. However, the plot starts from 11121 data and plot data ENTRY last in the plot. Here is the code and data. datn <- read.table(header=TRUE, text=' LEVEL STATUS CGPA DIPLOMA ENTRY 3.32 DIPLOMA 11121 2.91 DIPLOMA 11122 2.90 DIPLOMA 12131 2.89 DIPLOMA 12132 2.89 DIPLOMA 13141 2.93 DIPLOMA 13142 2.96 DIPLOMA 14151 2.76 DIPLOMA 14152 2.73 STPM

[LLVMdev] [RFC] Iterrative compilation framework for Clang/LLVM
Hi Radovan, I am also interested in the iterative compilation in LLVM, and had implemented a simple iterative compilation driver. I guess you do not need to embedded the pointer to ModuleDecisionTreeProxies into the core classes of llvm, i.e. the PassManager class and the Function class. Instead, you could: 1. Implement a special pass manager that runs a set of passes iteratively. Implementing

Plot data in sequence
Hi, Thanks for the reproducible example. Looking at str(datn) would give you a clue. STATUS is a factor because it contains character values. Factor levels by default are alphabetical with numbers first, but you can change those. > str(datn) 'data.frame': 36 obs. of 3 variables: $ LEVEL : Factor w/ 4 levels "DIPLOMA","MATRIC",..: 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 4 ... $

R commands formating for LaTeX
Dear R users, I have to include typical UNIX formated R commands and outputs into the article using LaTeX. What is the easiest way to include R prompt commands and text outputs (including messages) into LaTeX documents? Is there any template or library? So far I'm trying to produce R commands in LaTeX using LaTeX general format options. Thanks, Rado

ROracle - fetch gives empty dataframe
Dear R-users, I was able to make ROracle package to connect to the DB (Oracle91, 64bit, on Solaris). extract columns from a dataframe
Dear R users, I'm coming back to R after while. I have a data frame with 200 columns, each column has a name. How to extract all columns to a new dataset, but the specified (by names) ones? I was playing with that for a little bit using the vector syntax but got several syntax errors. Thanks, Rado

[LLVMdev] Changes in FunctionPassManager constructor
What guarantees does LLVM try to provide regarding source code compatibility? Case in point: rev 94686 (http://llvm.org/viewvc/llvm-project?view=rev&revision=94686) breaks any code that creates a JIT. For example, we used to construct a FunctionPassManager with a ModuleProvider, it's now to be done with a Module. I cannot ship source code for my own project that is compatible with both

[LLVMdev] Changes in FunctionPassManager constructor
>> Also note that the documentation is unintentionally misleading. It's very confusing for http://llvm.org/docs/tutorial/LangImpl4.html to show "Last modified: $Date: 2007-10-17 11:05:13 -0700 (Wed, 17 Oct 2007) $" at the bottom, as if nothing had changed since then, when the code it displays is actually less than a week old... I guess the source code snippets are updated

how to identify the outliers
Hello R-users, Is there any more sophisticated way how to identify the dataset outliers other then seeing them in boxplot? I wanna exclude them from further analysis and I am interested in their position in my vector data. Rado -- Radoslav Bonk M.S. [LLVMdev] glibc to LLVM port
Hi guys, on the webpages of your project i have found, that you are trying to port glibc to LLVM (sounds interesting). I am student of Faculty of Informatics in Brno, and currently i am trying to search a theme for my diploma thesis. Do you think that this one could have the scope to cover (serve) as the diploma work. Thanks Regards iankko --- reklama

R and databases (Oracle)
Dear R users, I'm working on implementation of hydrometeorological DB in Oracle9i and would like to use R, as a plotting engine for graphs and maps and also to perform some non trivial statistics on DB data using R. Thus any links with examples or efforts on: - general DB and R cooperation - Oracle91 and R cooperation - Oracle PL/SQL and R are welcomed. Thanks in advance, Rado --

Hi, I am just migrating to Centos from fedora core 3. I have 3 boxes involved here: Box A --Fedora 3 (doing the dns, http, sendmail serving duties) Box B --CentOS Box C --CentOS I used to run root passwordless ssh both ways from boxes A and B mainly set up to keep the 2 boxes in sync w/rsync ... these 2 boxes normally ran one being the slave and the other being the master...the master did all
