how to get output from a nested loop
Dear all, I imagine that this is a trival question, but it has perplexed for most of the day. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Below is an example of what I'm trying to do. Essentially I want to produce all unique 1 x 1 combinations of certain columns from a dataframe, and join these to other columns from the same dataframe. I'm having problems with the nested loop as I can only

rspec-rails and rack middleware
It doesn''t seem like my controller specs are calling my middleware on requests. Has anyone figured out a good way to test middlware with rspec? I''m thinking something like rails'' rails/actionpack/test/controller/session/mem_cache_store_test.rb but with rspec... any thoughts? Thanks! edit-livecd
Greetings, I made a Fedora AOS livecd ISO image using fedora-aos.ks (from fedora-kickstarts-0.12.1-1.fc12.noarch) and livecd-tools-031-1.fc12.1.i686. This boots fine with qemu and directly from CD. I used the script from http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/livecd/attachments/20090922/85647312/attachment.py to edit the ISO image, and, even if I make no changes, I get the following error

AstManProxy - No pid file created when run
Hi, Looking at /etc/init.d/astmanproxy file, it seems astmanproxy should create a /var/run/astmanproxy.pid file when run. I can't find any such astmanproxy.pid (not in /var/run directory, nor anywhere else). Is it normal ? How to associate a custom script to "core stop now"
Hello, I would to create a custom file whenever a "core stop now" command is typed through Asterisk console. (If this file is present, it would mean admin has choosen to stop Asterisk and it shouldn't be tried to restart Asterisk automatically). Obviously, when such "core stop now" command is typed, "/etc/init.d/asterisk stop" is not launched so I can't use

Xnest unable to connect with firewall enabled (possible bug with 5.3)
Hi, My requirement is to use Xnest only. It was working seamlessly with 5.2 but not with 5.3 I am using this command to connect to the remote X-server. Xnest :1 -geometry 800x600 -query *<ip-address-of-X-server>* Can anyone confirm the same behavior? Or shall I file the bug in bugzilla? How speex cope with the difference of frame length?
How speex cope with the difference between the codec frame length ,ie.160, and denoising algo frame length? ? The frame length of denoising algo? must be different from that of codec. Although I do not know the exact frame lenth is , it must be a certain power of 2,say 128 or 256.not 160. Then how speex handle it? ? Cheers HyeeWang

The decoder needs to simply read flac encoded data from a file, decode it, and play write the decoded PCM to the sound driver for playing it. I am looking to make a very simple application which uses the libFLAC.lib static library
