[LLVMdev] LLVM-gcc for Ada
Thanks for the suggestion, Andre. I downloaded GNAT GPL 2007, and followed the directions on your web page. Now I get a lot of C++ errors. In fact, the output I captured to a log file is over six megabytes just from the start of the problem command to the termination of the make. I'm obviously not going to include it all here, but the command and the first few errors are copied below.

[LLVMdev] gfortran front end
This is OS X 10.6. I can build llvm-gcc and llvm-g++ just fine, but the gfortran front end cannot find a symbol. Where would it normally be defined ? ==================================================================== /Developer/usr/bin/g++-4.2 -g -O2 -DIN_GCC -W -Wall -Wwrite-strings -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -pedantic -Wno-long-long -Wno-variadic-macros

[LLVMdev] ocaml build system
I have an issue with the OCaml build system and the ExecutionEngine. PR2128 has a patch to change the Interpreter to use libffi. This breaks test/Bindings/Ocaml/executionengine.ml because OCaml doesn't try to link with libffi, even though llvm-config knows that we should: $ Debug/bin/llvm-config --ldflags interpreter -L/home/nicholas/llvm-commit/Debug/lib -lpthread -lffi -ldl -lm

[LLVMdev] Problem Compiling llvm-gcc 4.2
>> Dear All, I have been trying for days but still cannot break this barrier. May I get your help? I have compiled llvm-2.1 successfully and make install. When I proceed with llvm-gcc-4.2-2.1, however, I keep getting linking error as attached. Some functions with totally different content conflict with each other in linking process. That is a Linux box (Debian, with 2.6.23-1

[LLVMdev] gfortran link failure in current llvm svn
Duncan, Actually, shouldn't this be just an error in the Makefile.in or Makefile.am? Why should a link line like... c++ -g -O2 -mdynamic-no-pic -DIN_GCC -W -Wall -Wwrite-strings -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -pedantic -Wno-long-long -Wno-variadic-macros -Wno-overlength-strings -Wold-style-definition -Wmissing-format-attribute -mdynamic-no-pic -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -o f951 \

[LLVMdev] Multiple definitions of _floor_log2
I am trying to build the llvm-gcc frontend. I think I have followed the directions correctly. I am using cygwin on XP SP2 (uname -a reports: CYGWIN_NT-5.1 pad7 1.5.25(0.156/4/2) 2007-12-14 19:21 i686 Cygwin) gcc --version reports: gcc (GCC) 3.4.4 (cygming special, gdc 0.12, using dmd 0.125) Since there is no binary for llvm-gcc I am following the directions in the tar file for the 4.2 version. -

[LLVMdev] LLVM-GCC and Symbian
Hi, I noticed that there is some kind of reference to Symbian support in LLVM-GCC, and I'm trying to find out more about it. I configured llvm- gcc-4.2-2.5 using: > ../configure --prefix=/opt/stow/llvm-gcc-2.5/ --enable-llvm=/home/wim/Documents/Sources/llvm-2.5/OBJ_ROOT/ --disable-bootstrap --disable-multilib --enable-checking --target arm-none-symbianelf --enable-languages=objc,c,c++

[LLVMdev] llvm-gcc (pre-release and svn sources) fails to compile on Solaris10/SPARC
I am new to LLVM, and I'm trying to compile llvm and llvm-gcc from subversion on a Solaris10/SPARC machine. I have already tried building llvm-2.4 on this machine, but it failed. I then tried the subversion sources (rev. # 65253 fro llvm and rev#65263 for llvm-gcc) and llvm at least builds correctly ( I however have not tried testing it!). I can execute binaries located in

[LLVMdev] Fwd: PPC Nightly Build Result
Hi Bill, this might be a latent bug related to PPC. I have no such machine to access atm., but I shall be able to reproduce the problem when back at home. (In about 4 hours). I keep you informed.
