[LLVMdev] can GlobalAlias point to a middle of a structure?
Hi,
In order to find out-of-bound accesses to global objects with
AddressSanitizer (
http://code.google.com/p/address-sanitizer/wiki/AddressSanitizer)
I need to create redzones to the left and to the right of every global
variable.
I tried the following:
Before:
@Extern = global [10 x i8] zeroinitializer, align 1
After:
%0 = type { [32 x i8], [10 x i8], [54 x i8] }
@Extern_asan_redzone =

[LLVMdev] llvm-gcc errors
Hi,
I'm trying to compile a simple program that only printf("hello") using llvm-gcc with -emit-llvm flag, but I'm getting the following error stream. Any ideas what could be the problem?
Thanks,
Tal

[LLVMdev] [RFC] Alias should not point to declarations
A long time ago (before r97733) we used to model the weakref attribute
by outputting a new declaration and a weak alias to it. This was
fairly buggy and we now implement weakref directly in clang, with the
same logic an assembler uses to implement .weakref (which is what gcc
prints).
One thing that was left from that old implementation is that we still
have alias to declarations and they are a

[LLVMdev] Clang + SAFECode Release Announcement
John,
The release source code (sc-main.tar) won't compile cleanly under
Debian6-i386 (gcc/g++: 4.4.5).
The compiler back trace is attached.
Please fix it/them and repost.
Or, 64b system is a requirement?
Thank you

slope coefficient of a quadratic regression bootstrap
Hello,
I want to know if two quadratic regressions are significantly different.
I was advised to make the test using
step 1 bootstrapping both quadratic regressions and get their slope
coefficients.
(Let's call the slope coefficient *â*^1 and *â*^2)
step 2 use the slope difference *â*^1-*â*^2 and bootstrap the slope
coefficent
step 3 find out the sampling distribution above and

[LLVMdev] Clang + SAFECode Release Announcement
Hi,
My apologies for the trouble.
I've disabled building DynamicTypeChecks for now (r138224) and now it
builds cleanly on 32bit for me here.
As for SAFECode support for 32bit vs 64bit, I believe 32bit should
work just fine although I haven't personally tested this.
Let me know if you have any further issues/questions.

help:Problemas compatibllidad Windows Mac
Hola buenas,

Is is possible to use the latest changeset and old linux kernel?
Hi,
I tried to use the latest changeset of xen-unstable with an old linux
kernel (2.6.16.33), because some of my codes are developed based on that
Linux version. It seems that 2.6.18 changes quite a bit interfaces from
2.6.16.33.
I set the "LINUX_VER = 2.6.16.33" in the file
"buildconfigs/mk.linux-2.6-xen". When I did "make world", the xen
builder did

[LLVMdev] New JIT APIs
Hi Armin,
> The MCJIT API can only be used once to JIT compile external souces to
excuteable code into the address space of a running process.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "can only be used once" in this
context. Regardless, the new APIs are definitely designed to make it easier
to lead, unload and replace modules, and I hope they will support a wider
range of use cases

LLJVM make error
That source file was removed from LLVM in r232397 on March 16, 2015.
It looks like lljvm hasn't been updated in a long time. LLVM's C++ APIs are not stable, so there is no expectation that a project built against LLVM's C++ API in 2015 would build or reasonably function against LLVM trunk.
The project probably works against LLVM 3.6.2 which was (I believe) the last LLVM release to
