Sernet 4.3.X package is no longer free :/
Maurik,
You are right. I am currently using 4.1.17 and have the same failed login
messages as you describe. There is, however, a bit more information further down
in the logfile:
[2015/10/07 16:51:24.076283, 2] authentication for user [HPRS/Administrator] FAILED with error NT_STATUS_WRONG_PASSWORD

rsync is concatenating the files together
I am seeing a really odd problem with Rsync 2.6.2 and 2.6.3. I am trying to
rsync a directory containing some 2gb files from a Solaris 9 NFS server to
a Solaris 10b69 NFS client. Rsync is running on the Solaris 10 client.
Here is the source directory as seen from the client:
Source directory:

but now all I get is the auth_check_password_recv in the log. Perhaps the change is due to an
upgrade to Samba, or perhaps a change I made to my smb.conf log options? (see log config in

disk iotune
Hi,
reading the below[1] on blkdeviotune made me wonder if we can dynamically
change the values after the VM is already running using iotune.
Is it supported?
Thanks,
Doron

That looked interesting. I tried creating the logfile /var/log/samba/.log.samba.%m and restart
samba. What it did was immediately create separate log files for each currently attached

tftp replacment
Hi all,
I have a running network boot setup using opensuse 11.0.
Recently we found that in some remote segments, downloading the initrd and
vmlinuz takes a long time.
My question is, weather it's possible to replace tftp with some other protocol
such as HTTP or similar ? This may be done by the pxelinux client after it's
been loaded using the standard tftp. In this way both initrd and

Sonos 2.8 Install Fails/Succeeds on Unbuntu 9.04 Wine 1.1.22
I have successfully installed Sonos 2.8 using Ubuntu 9.04 and Wine 1.1.22 on my wireless Dell Inspiron laptop and an old dual boot Dell Dimension desktop. The Sonos Desktop Controller software was installed on the dual boot Unbuntu side as well as the Windows XP Pro side. Software works fine on both machines. However when I try to install Sonos 2.8 on my primary wired Dell XPS desktop, the

Yes. 'virsh blkdeviotune' will do it (which makes calls to the
underlying virDomainSetBlockIoTune() API).

Simulator
I added those libraries to my application, and it was successfully compiled
and linked,
but once the application start it immediately crash (even if I am not using

Web Service (server) and file_column issues
Hi there,
I''m having some issues with using SOAP and file_column. The Web service I
created is pretty straight forward. It gets the 5 most recently updated
members from the database. Nothing too spectacular. However, the Members
class uses file_column and when I try to connect to my web service I get
this error:
TypeError in Connect to serviceController#display_recent_updates
