[LLVMdev] Web Server Restart
Dear LLVMers,
I'll be restarting the LLVM web server in about 15 minutes (3:30 pm
Central Time). It's a small web server configuration change, so it'll
be a quick restart. For paranoia's sake, please refrain from doing SVN
commits starting at 3:30.
I'll email once the web server is back online.

[LLVMdev] LLVM Service Outages
Dear All,
The Siebel Center (the building in which the llvm.org server is housed)
is undergoing some significant work on its cooling system this weekend.
Air conditioning will not be available, so we have been advised to shut
down systems until the cooling work is done.
This outage affects the following LLVM services:
1) The LLVM web server and SVN server will be unavailable starting noon

[LLVMdev] Web Server Restart
Dear LLVMers,
I will be restarting the LLVM website tomorrow at 2:00 pm Central
Standard Time. I will be adding a new virtual host.
Unless something unexpected happens, there should be no noticeable
downtime. However, I ask that people refrain from using the LLVM
website or SVN services between 2:00 pm and 2:10 pm CST so that I don't
interrupt any commits.
I will send email to llvmdev

FW: ADTRAN Virtual Classes: Ensuring QoS for VoIP & Total Access 900 Series
I thought this might interest a few asterisk users. I don't use them so
I have no idea about Adtran's but I know a heap of people on this list
swear by them.
Cheers,
Dean

[LLVMdev] LLVM Server Downtime: July 31
Dear All,
The University of Illinois will be upgrading some central routers on
July 31 from 3:00 am to 10:30 am Central Daylight Savings time.
Additional work may continue on August 1 from 3:00 am to 10:30 am if needed.
These routers connect our network to the rest of the Internet. During
this time, the connection between the LLVM servers (hosted at Illinois)
and the rest of the world will

The web server on llvm.org seems to have started going really slowly.
I'm going to restart it in 5 minutes (10:50 am CDT) to see if that fixes

bug in as.POSIXct ?
I think that there is a bug in the as.POSIXct function on Windows.
Here is what I get on Win2000, Pentium III machine in R 1.8.1.

[LLVMdev] Nightly Tester Volunteers
Dear All,
I need one or more volunteers to try out their nightly testers with the
-usesvn option. We're not running on here at the University of Illinois
regularly, so if someone could try one of theirs out before tomorrow
9:00 am CDT, I'd be very appreciative.
Thanks.

[LLVMdev] Server Restart: Adding New Certificate
Dear All,
Some of you may have noticed that our SSL certificate expired about half
an hour ago. We have a new SSL certificate, but we haven't had time to
install it.
I am going to attempt to install the new certificate. This will
necessitate one server restart if I am successful and probably two if
I'm not.
Chances are that you will not notice any disruption, but if you're the

Please remember that the LLVM SVN server is part of the web servers, so
please don't commit files until I let you know that the web server is
back up.

[LLVMdev] Periodic Server Restarts
Dear All,
We'll be testing another solution for removing some files from the SVN
repository starting tomorrow at 8:00 am Central Daylight time. This
particular solution will be testing the use of access control to
effectively prevent the files from being downloaded during SVN
operations. The good news is that the SVN repository will (more or
less) stay up during the procedure.

Understanding POSIXct creation on different OSes.
Bumping this up to the front again ... because it exhibits a difference in
behaviour of R across OSs. Such a 'feature' may not be desirable.

Understanding POSIXct creation on different OSes.
Hello,
Following Dirk's post here: https://github.com/Rdatatable/data.table/issues/1619
we would like to clarify if this is the right behaviour, and if so,
the rationale behind it.
Here's the summary (thanks to Dirk and Joshua):

[LLVMdev] Web Server Restart
Dear All,
I'll be restarting the LLVM web server in 15 minutes (i.e., at 10 am
Central Time). During the restart, all web and SVN services will be
unavailable. Please don't commit to the SVN repository while the server
is down.
I'm adding a new virtual host configuration, so the restart should cause
only momentary loss of service.
I'll send email once services are back up.
