[LLVMdev] Problem on running "hello world" pass on VS2008
Hello
> Could you help me to solve this problem? Thanks.
Plugins are not supported on systems without dynamic linking (e.g.
windows).
Well, how to add new pass on windows? generate .lib which is linked with opt? I have tried this way.
But, It doesn't work, either.

Anton, please add release_32 also in;
clang-tools-extra
compiler-rt
dragonegg
libcxxabi
lldb
They have release_32 in svn. I don't know they might be released, though.
And, could you suppress generating refs/heads/svn-tags and prune them for now?
I am sure that orphan branches will stress the llvm.org server to
begin git-pack-ing whole tree.

[LLVMdev] Problem on running "hello world" pass on VS2008
Hello, everyone!
Recently, I build llvm project for Visual Studio 2008 using cmake successfulley.
I modify the project LLVMHello of the entire solution to generate LLVMHello.dll instead of LLVMHello.lib without other changes.
Then, the flowing commands is executed:
opt -load LLVMHello.dll --help
But, I can't find the information string for hello pass.
opt -load LLVMHello.dll

[LLVMdev] Optimization passes break machine instructions on new backend
But in the first version it's used on the next row:
%reg16388<def> = CMPrr %reg16384, %reg16385, %CFR<imp-def,dead>;
IntRegs:%reg16388,16384,16385
SKIPCOND 1, *%CFR<imp-use>*
Or doesn't that count?
Following are patters for cmp and skipcond:
def cmpcc : SDNode<"CSISD::CMP", SDTIntBinOp, [SDNPOutFlag]>;
let Defs = [CFR] in {
def CMPrr :

[LLVMdev] Add a backend
Is there documentation somewhere about exactly what the function is
supposed to do, or do I have to figure it out from existing examples?

Unfortunately, this requires manual grafting, since git-svn does
really bad job here.
I'm going to work on this tonight.

Loadable modules (e.g. passes) are not supported on windows. And will
probably never be.

[LLVMdev] wxGTK sample app compiled by llvm crashes on arm
Thanx for a prompt reply.
I will definitely try llvm 2.8 as per your suggestion.
However Step 1 and Step 2 are working for me in case of a simple hello world
program on arm processor . Similarly I am able to run a GTK application on
arm. However while running wxGTKwidget app it crashes while allocation of
memory. As I mentioned earlier, If I explicitly allocate memory using new
operation then

It definitely works for me on windows (not only for me, but for many
others too). Which problems you're seeing?

[LLVMdev] linking a parser bitcode
Hello Anton,
Our main.bc was generated with the following command line:
llvm-g++ -Illvm\include -D__STDC_LIMIT_MACROS -D__STDC_CONSTANT_MACROS -c -emit-llvm -omain.bc main.cpp
The amos.bc file was generated by our experimental llvm-peg parser generator whose internal workings are assembled internally using LLVM Assembly. The parser generator links a C++ library bitcode with C bindings called

is _LLVMInitializeFooTargetMC that I can't find documented anywhere.
