I agree too. I'm working on an analysis pass and I could be adding info to a wiki as I discover how to do things. Reid Spencer had set one up at one point, but it never got much traction. It seems to be broken at the moment: http://wiki.llvm.org/ On 2009-03-11, at 02:22, someguy wrote: > Hi all, > > I'm pretty new to LLVM and am slowly learning the code-base and > architecture, mostly as a result of my efforts to implement a target > backend. > > There are a number of resources

In principle, having a Wiki like this would be valuable. In practice, I think there will need to be some sanity checking to make sure incorrect or misleading information is not added to it. The old Wiki below isn't up any more. We can set one up on llvm.org. --Vikram Associate Professor, Computer Science University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign http://llvm.org/~vadve On Mar 11,

Hi All, I've started outlining the notes I'd like to see on the wiki on the front page (http://google2.osuosl.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page). I'll hopefully add a bunch of those as I go along, but feel free to both correct my mistakes and fill in the blanks. Could someone in a 'position of power' please cname wiki.llvm.org to the google2.osuosl.org server so Daniel can

Implementing Globalize
Hello all, I was wondering if any of you know some good documentation that points out how to implement the Globalization plugin in your existing application. Also some text on how to use a cms like system with Globalization (how to handle the population of the translated texts per item for example) With kind regards, Gerard de Brieder. If we get the blessing of one of the old-timers who is willing to spend a little time reviewing postings, we can deal with the 'misleading information' issue. In addition, it might be _useful_ to understand why people were misled. On Wed, Mar 11, 2009 at 5:16 PM, Nipun Arora <nipun2512 at gmail.com> wrote: > I agree. I don't consider the possibility of "misleading" information to be a big worry. It is no worse than having out of date "official" docs. Ideally,

Embedding R
hello all, is there somewhere a comprehensive documentation for the (C) functions used for embedded R? (e.g. the functions which are used in the directory \tests\Embedding in the R source) or Are there somewhere many more examples for this? (especially handover of data between C and embedded R) thanks, Alex --
