[LLVMdev] automatic discovery of new CMake projects
Hi all, The suggested patch enables addition of all subdirectories of llvm/projects to CMake build. It somewhat simplifies the process of creating new projects that use CMake instead of make, eliminating the need of editing llvm/CMakeLists.txt and llvm/projects/CMakeLists.txt. [LLVMdev] Problems building LLVM under Visual Studio
Hi all, I'm trying to build LLVM, synced from SVN trunk yesterday. I ran CMake and it generated VS 2008 project files, so far so good.  Then I tried to build them, by building the ALL_BUILD project. It got the first three all right, but choked on template issues in LLVMCore: 1>------ Build started: Project: LLVMCore, Configuration: Debug Win32 ------ 1>Compiling... 1>Verifier.cpp

[LLVMdev] automatic discovery of new CMake projects
Hi Óscar, Thank you for the reply. I indeed got an impression (may be incorrect) that projects/ directory is intended for users' projects that are not committed to LLVM repository. Otherwise, of course, the patch doesn't make much sense. Anyway, I've added a comment about the need of explicit CMake invocation to projects/CMakeLists.txt. Thanks, Victor -----Original Message-----

[LLVMdev] problem with execution engine on windows
Dear llvm-dev, First of all I'd like to thank LLVM developers for doing a great job! I am trying to use LLVM libraries on Windows using Visual Studio environment and everything works very smoothly until it comes to the execution engine. I construct a module and obtain a pointer to the function in it using ExecutionEngine::getPointerToFunction but calling this function (after appropriate

Linking issues (Visual Studio 2005 and libspeex.lib)
Hi, I've been doing some development for Pocket PC 2003 applications and have happened to chance upon Speex. To date, I've been having some issues in linking libspeex.lib with my application in MS Visual Studio 2005. Upon building my program, I will always receive the error: fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'd:\Recorder\libspeex.lib' Recorder A brief description

[LLVMdev] Is there someone tried LLVM 2.1 on Visual Studio 2005?
Hola Seung, I don't know if 2.1 in particular worked. I updated the 2.2 win32 vstudio 2k5 files right before lockdown, so they should be building. You will need appropriate versions of flex and bison installed. I used the ones from getgnuwin32 on my machine. Good luck. Chuck. -----Original Message----- From: llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu [mailto:llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu] On Behalf

[LLVMdev] Has anyone sucessfully compile the llvm code using visual studio 2005?
HI everyone. I am using visual studio 2005 and windows xp to compile the llvm project. I downloaded the project with svn client. I thought this action may gurantee my code is up to date and integrate. However, after I opened the solution located in the win32 directory and build the solution, the visual studio output many many errors, and even few projects can be compiled to generate runable .exe
