So...is lighttpd/fcgi on its way out, Apache/mongrel the up-and-comer?
I''ve been using a homegrown system to do billing for my site. Right now I want to add a couple things, but I''m not sure I want to actually have to work on this billing system. Seems like it''d make a lot more sense to just use an existing package like ModernBill [1]. I''ve never used PHP on lighttpd, never needed to. Not sure if MB can run on it, or how well

[LLVMdev] decompiler
Hi - Not sure if anyone else saw this or cares about a decompiler (not personally tested) https://github.com/draperlaboratory/fracture I wonder if they have been in contact with anyone in the community in getting this upstreamed. Does it look interesting to anyone else? (thoughts/random comments/feedback)

IMAP Authentication
Does anyone have any experience using an IMAP server to authenticate Samba users? The idea is to control viability and read/write access to file/print services using an Internal only email server. Thanks, John

solis driver
I use Centos 7.6.1810 in my server with nut-2.7.2-4.el7.x86_64 which contains Solis version 0.60 08/18/2005, my last version. My hardware related by upsc is Microsol Solis 1.5, the same used to develop the driver. It's an ancient nobreak, but i still works, by the way, an excellent hardware, using the third set of batteries. If you need more information, please let me know. Greeting, Silvino.

[LLVMdev] LLVM Toronto social
On the last LLVM dev meeting I was surprised to find more llvmers that work on the GTA. Maybe we could organize a small social meeting similar to what happens in the bay area? I would propose scheduling the first one for Wednesday next week (the 29th). Is the date good? Would the beer bistro on King be a good place? Cheers, Rafael

over 200 queues, anyone?
Hello list, one of our clients is going to be deploying a system with over 200 differently composed queues and 100 agents. We are going to do a full test of the viability of this solution before deployment, but I was wondering if anyone has experience of such a setup and if there are any obvious problems or no-nos. Any suggestion welcomed, l. -- Home of QueueMetrics -

Two-way Anova
Hello, I'm trying to do a comparsion on a large scale say 10L bottle of liquid and a small scale bottle of liquid 0.5L, I have 5 different samples from each and they are measured over the space of 8 days as % viability and the % viability decreases over time. However not all 10 samples got measured every day. How would I do a two-way anova on this in R? Thanks for any help. Regards, Al

Fastest non-overlapping binning mean function out there?
Hi, I'm looking for a super-duper fast mean/sum binning implementation available in R, and before implementing z = binnedMeans(x y) in native code myself, does any one know of an existing function/package for this? I'm sure it already exists. So, given data (x,y) and B bins bx[1] < bx[2] < ... < bx[B] < bx[B+1], I'd like to calculate the binned means (or sums)

[LLVMdev] llvm-? new mailing list?
LLVMers, Traffic on llvm-dev is quite high and while the majority of it is LLVM development related, there are many other mails related to clients or other projects. Having an llvm-users doesn't make any sense, but perhaps having a llvm-clients or llvm-general mailing list may help offload some of the traffic. What do people think? Any other suggestions to divide up the traffic and reach

Enhanced MDISKCHK.COM and MEMDISK patches
Good day to all, Gert Hulselmans requested a feature for MDISKCHK.COM that would function roughly like GETARGS.COM[1] by Murali Krishnan Ganapathy: DOS SET command output for MEMDISK kernel arguments passed by previous boot-loaders. He also needed to support the case for MEMDISK-in-a-MEMDISK type situations, where all MEMDISK kernel arguments could be gathered together and output as a list

Discrete choice model maximum likelihood estimation
Hello, I am new to R and I am trying to estimate a discrete model with three choices. I am stuck at a point and cannot find a solution. I have probability functions for occurrence of these choices, and then I build the likelihood functions associated to these choices and finally I build the general log-likelihood function. There are four parameters in the model, three of them are associated to

This patches add support for dynamic sectors to GPT MBR code. First 3 patches are trick and optimizations to gain some space for the forth patch. I have a modified version of SeaBIOS, some code and some script o test it I'll send on a different mail.
