panel ordering in nlme and augPred plots
Hi,
I'm new at this, I'm very confused, and I think I'm missing something
important here. In our pet example we have this:
> fm <- lme(Orthodont)
> plot(Orthodont)
> plot(augPred(fm, level = 0:1))
which gives us a trellis plot with the females above the males,
starting with "F03", "F04", "F11", "F06", etc. I thought the point of

Troubleshooting underidentification issues in structural equation modelling (SEM)
Hi all, hope someone can help me out with this.
Background Introduction
I have a data set consisting of data collected from a questionnaire that I
wish to validate. I have chosen to use confirmatory factor analysis to
analyse this data set.
Instrument
The instrument consists of 11 subscales. There is a total of 68 items in
the 11 subscales. Each item is scored on an integer scale between 1 to 4.

Confidence Intervals for Random Effect BLUP's
I want to compute confidence intervals for the random effect estimates
for each subject. From checking on postings, this is what I cobbled
together using Orthodont data.frame as an example. There was some
discussion of how to properly access lmer slots and bVar, but I'm not
sure I understood. Is the approach shown below correct?

2.0.7 drives disconnecting
I am running Samba 2.0.7 under Solaris 2.5.1 (x86 and sun4).
Various shares are setup, which get connected when users log
on from their NT4 PC's. No problems as far as this group of
users are concerned.
We also have lots of users using Network Computers (NC's)
who log onto TSE/MetaFrame servers. Unfrtunately, these
bunch of users are encountering problems whereby some of

[LLVMdev] request for help writing a register allocator
Lang -
I've made some progress writing my register allocator, but now I'm stuck.
I have 2 questions for you:
1. I tried running the PBQP allocator (as a dynamic pass), but that didn't
work. When I type this:
llc -f -load Debug/lib/regalloc.so -regalloc=pbqp simple.bc
I get the following error:

Problem with pairs() in nlme
Dear r-helpers,
After successfully running
require(nlme)
vfr.lmL <- lmList(
estimate ~ (slant + respType + visField + hand)^2 | subject, vfr
)
pairs(vfr.lmL, id = 0.01, adj = -0.5) # Pinheiro & Bates (p. 141)
produces the following error:
Error in sprintf(gettext(fmt, domain = domain), ...) :
object "form" not found
Any guesses as to what I may have done wrong?

Yes - as far as working allocators go PBQP is pretty simple. If you're just
interested in LLVM API details you can focus on

Hi List,
I'm trying to set my Asterisk 1.8.20.1 with TLS on CentOS 5.9, it was easy
and straightforward with Debian 6.0.6, but when I introduce this command on
CentOS:
#./ast_tls_cert -C 10.200.108.17 -O "MyCompany" -d /etc/asterisk/keys/
I got this error message:

Same result happens when using server's hostname:
