[LLVMdev] Web Server Restart
Dear LLVMers, I'll be restarting the LLVM web server in about 15 minutes (3:30 pm Central Time). It's a small web server configuration change, so it'll be a quick restart. For paranoia's sake, please refrain from doing SVN commits starting at 3:30. I'll email once the web server is back online. -- John T.

[LLVMdev] Web Server Restart
Dear All, I'll be restarting the LLVM web server in 15 minutes (i.e., at 10 am Central Time). During the restart, all web and SVN services will be unavailable. Please don't commit to the SVN repository while the server is down. I'm adding a new virtual host configuration, so the restart should cause only momentary loss of service. I'll send email once services are back up.

[LLVMdev] Web Server Restart
Dear LLVMers, I will be restarting the LLVM website tomorrow at 2:00 pm Central Standard Time. I will be adding a new virtual host. However, I ask that people refrain from using the LLVM website or SVN services between 2:00 pm and 2:10 pm CST so that I don't interrupt any commits. I will send email to llvmdev

[LLVMdev] Server Restart: Adding New Certificate
Dear All, Some of you may have noticed that our SSL certificate expired about half an hour ago. We have a new SSL certificate, but we haven't had time to install it. I am going to attempt to install the new certificate. This will necessitate one server restart if I am successful and probably two if I'm not. Chances are that you will not notice any disruption, but if you're the

Metadata and compile time performance
Dear LLVMers, I’m investigating the response time of my JIT, and according to profiling, optimization takes 85% of the compile time, while the rest is being split evenly between the front-end and machine code generation. Much of the optimizer time is spent in various alias analysis passes. I’m happy with the generated code quality and wouldn’t like to lower the optimization level (O2). Would

[LLVMdev] Problem getting LoopInfo inside non-LoopPass
LLVMers, I am doing a CallGraphPass but would like to get the LoopInfo of the functions inside this pass, is this possible? Currently I have a function inside the CallGraph struct: void getAnalysisUsage(AnalysisUsage &AU) const { AU.addRequired<LoopInfo>(); AU.addPreserved<LoopInfo>(); } And later inside the pass I am calling: LoopInfo &LI =

literate programming
I'm working on the next iteration of coxme. (Rather slowly during the summer). This is the most subtle code I've done in S, both mathematically and technically, and seems a perfect vehicle for the "literate programming" paradym of Knuth. The Sweave project is pointed at S output however, not source code. I would appreciate any pointers to an noweb type client that was
