[LLVMdev] Sparc assembly syntax
OK, so the next thing I found in Sparc world is that sparc-elf-as doesn't understand .bss as a directive for some reason. I modified the Sparc code generator to output .section ".bss" and that works just fine. My (temporary) solution is a hack, however: ================================================================== --- SparcAsmPrinter.cpp (revision 720) +++

Well, anyway stubs are definitely wrong from windows64 and this should be fixed, otherwise funny stuff can happen from time to

They're definitely not

[LLVMdev] Any Mercurial or Bazaar mirrors available?
Hello, Oscar > Anyways, if there is no Mercurial or Bazaar mirrors available, I will > try git. Recommendations on which one to use welcomed. There is git mirror at repo.or.cz: http://repo.or.cz/w/llvm.git, llvm-gcc & clang mirrors are available there as well. I'm updating it 'by hands' currently due to some reasons, so sometimes it will need 2-3 days for changes in llvm

[LLVMdev] LLVM build failures

[LLVMdev] Sparc assembly syntax
Any code that I generate for the Sparc fails at assembly time using a gas assembler built for the Sparc. I get code like the following from the code generator: .text .align 16 .globl main .type main, #function main: save -96, %o6, %o6 and get a syntax error on the save instruction. I think sparc syntax should be: .text .align

[LLVMdev] Intel asm
Hello, David > Is the Intel AsmPrinter meant to produce asm that is understood by gas or > is it only meant to satisfy NASM, etc.? It's expected to produce assembler, which is understood by masm mainly. However, don't expect much from this asmprinter - masm does not have many features required to emit assembler properly. -- WBR, Anton Korobeynikov
