[LLVMdev] Debugging on unavailable hardware
Hi Renato, Thank you very much for the directions, I am going to recommit my fix. What are hardware used in buildbots? Are these common boards like PandaBoard or some thing special? What is RAM installed? Thanks, --Serge 2014-12-11 2:36 GMT+06:00 Renato Golin <renato.golin at linaro.org>: > On 10 December 2014 at 19:06, Serge Pavlov <sepavloff at gmail.com> wrote: > > In

Clarification on expectations of buildbot email notifications
I think we could/should be a little bit more precise here: > ... any regressions whether they affect buildbots or not, the > patch author should be responsible for fixing the issue. especially if we say that the bar for a revert is low. That is, the "any regression" needs a bit more clarifications. Assuming we are talking about performance regressions (not language conformance or

Permissions and ownership on /dev/kvm keep reverting after starting a vm
Hey guys, /dev/kvm permissions and ownership keeps reverting after starting a vm. The ownership and permissions keep going back to crw-rw—— root root .... After starting a vm. I have to revert the perms and ownership to: crw-crw-crw root kvm .... To start any vm but it goes back to the first set of permissions as soon as I start another vm. Wondering what could be doing this? Cheers, Tom

vectorize.enable
Hi Michael and Florian, ( + llvm-dev for visibility) I would like to quickly follow up on "Pragma vectorize_width() implies vectorize(enable)", which got reverted with commit 858a1ae for 2 reasons, see also that revert commit message. Ignore the assert, that's been fixed now. The other thing is that with the patch behaviour is slightly changed and we could get a diagnostic we

Reverting to etx2???
I am in the odd situation of needing to revert my root partition back to ext2 so that it may be resized. I prefer to use Partition Magic at the moment and it can only work with partitions of ext2, not ext3. I believe that the documentation for ext3 exists at the main web site, http://www.uow.edu.au/~andrewm/linux/ext3/. That is my next destination but as the answer may not exist there, I

Reverting to a previous git version
Hello. My question may be more git-related that wine-related, sorry for that but I have much trouble finding an answer. I have retrieved yesterday's git, but it introduced a bug that stops wine from starting. I want to revert to 0.9.56 using this same tree, how can I do that? I tried 'git branch wine-0.9.56;git rebase origin' but it didn't work. Thanks. --

Reverting from 2.0. to 1.2
Hello Timo, I switched this morning from dovecot-1.2.12 to 2.0.8 with a basic setup (high performance login mode, Maildir, everyhing on NFS, one shared but unused namespace). No problem so far except that some Thunderbird users who wouldn't succeed in moving messages from some one folder to another. They'd get a message about some illegal character in the mailboxname (already existing

Error reverting back to a previous version of rails
I want to revert back to a previous version of rails (1.2.3) but the project I want to work on was created in 2.0.2. I have uninstalled 2.0.2 and gem installed 1.2.3 but when I run script\server I get the following error. (I''m guessing its to do with my environment file but I''m pretty new to Rails so Im not sure.)

[LLVMdev] [llvm] r210424 - Revert "Do materialize for floating point"
Why are you reverting patches for any area that you have no authorization for ? No build was broken. This patch is fine. I am authorized to check in to the Mips area and Daniel is the maintainer for that area. :revert => false for Droppables
Right now I am using page.remove and page.insert for some complex nested moves in RJS. I have my draggables set to revert, but they also revert when they hit a droppable. Meaning, the draggable will start reverting for part of a second before the page.remove kicks in. Is there a way to specify :revert => false for the drop_receiving_element, or something else to that affect? -- Respectfully:

git revert support?
I am trying to revert a commit, and the instructions here don't work as the revert support was removed from the git-llvm script last week when the migration happened. The instructions on the website still reference it however: https://llvm.org/docs/GettingStarted.html#reverting-a-change-when-using-git I am going to do it manually, but a script would be helpful for automating the commit
