You are right that its missing from the getting started guide. I'll add
it.

Just make it consistent so people who don't know their way around yet
can quickly find what they're looking for.
I agree that binaries should be first if they should

As a suggestion, what about having "Common Uses for LLVM" that list out what
the LLVM n00b needs if he wants to...
(*) Get hello.c to compile and run in LLVM bitcode (This is the "what's the
absolute minimum I need to do to see this thing in action?" question.)
(*) Use LLVM as a back-end for a custom language or interpreter (This is the

OK, counter-examples. I am channeling Joe, an average C/C++/C#/Java
developer who's heard about LLVM and is curious to know what it is.
Joe thinks....
I surf to http://llvm.org/docs/GettingStarted.html#quickstart because I am
interested in this LLVM stuff.
1, 2, 3. What documentation? What am I supposed to read? Aaah! This is
scary!
4. Install either 4.0 or 4.2. Which one do I want? Which

directmedia/canreinvite/native bridging question
I've got several SIP clients with dynamic IP addresses
Asterisk has one public and one private IP address
SIP clients might connect to Asterisk from either the internet or the
private network (192.168.1.255) - they're portable
By default, directmedia/canreinvite is enabled and Asterisk sets up
direct media connections between clients. In this case clients on the
internet can make calls

form questions
I have a very simple form that looks allows an input for an error code
and then give the show page from the scaffolding if the error code is
in the database and a notification on the list page, again from the
scaffolding if not.
Here''s the form:

ATCom Phones - AT 510/AT530
Anyone here used these phones?
I'm getting more and more frustrated by todays modern crop of routers with
their so-called SIP ALGs which are invariably broken, or routers with
built-in ATAs which block internal SIP phones from working, so looking to
use IAX for some end-users.
I already support it for people who want to use (eg) Zoiper and use IAX a
lot to plumb boxes together, but never

redistribute virtual machines from vps hosting to end users
Hi. I need to get ability to download backups of kvm virtual machines
(raw images) to end users. Virtualbox users can import ovs images,
that i can create, but in case of linux and virt-manager - how users
can import images and simply run it?
I think about newbie linux users, that can install virt-manager under
ubuntu via graphical package manager and do some easy steps...
Can you share me info

Regardless of what kind CoC you have: if it comes to having to enforce
it, the community has stopped being open and welcoming.
So I think this approach is

[OT]Example Data for Non-statisticians
(Sorry for the slightly off topic post)
I'm giving a talk (on data mining) to some non-statisticians (who're
all postgrad students, but a mixture of Science and Commerce majors).
My intention is to show them the importance of statistics when doing
data mining. What I'm thinking of doing is using, hopefully, two
datasets. One from scientific area and another that is

Asterisk 1.4.5 Inserting Random Digits in Dialed Number!
Eeeeck! Asterisk is inserting random digits in dialed numbers.
So far I've seen it insert a 2 after the STD (area) code and insert an
extra 6 or 7 in the STD code. It's pretty repeatable although the
inserted number changes.
My Config is: Asterisk 1.4.5, Zaptel 1.4.3, Digium TE205P (rev 02).
There's an ISDN PBX on the second span and a BRI euroisdn on the first.

When to use BDD/TDD w/ external libraries
Test First Development is great...But should you use it when you are
adding classes/methods on to external library that doesn''t have an
extensive test suite? I noticed that the rspec plugin for autotest
has no specs.
David Chemlinsky said something to the list a while back that has
been stewing in my subconscious - that you develop software
differently using Test First

[LLVMdev] JVM bytecode generation vs. LLVM
Sorry if I'm repeating something that was already said.
I was just thinking "why the heck do I seem headed for JVM generation if
what I want to use is LLVM", and this is the result:
I'm coming from a Java background. I'm using Eclipse, I'm used to the
syntax highlighting, cross referencing and refactoring support that
Eclipse offers.
I know I will want to have the

Problems with servicepack 3
Hello!
I read your notice about your problem with Windows NT and servicepack 3.
Did you find any solution?
I have the same problem: I can?t see other computers on the network when
I?m running SAMBA. I would appreciate if you could help me.
