[LLVMdev] Web Server Restart
Dear LLVMers,
I will be restarting the LLVM website tomorrow at 2:00 pm Central
Standard Time. I will be adding a new virtual host.
Unless something unexpected happens, there should be no noticeable
downtime. However, I ask that people refrain from using the LLVM
website or SVN services between 2:00 pm and 2:10 pm CST so that I don't
interrupt any commits.
I will send email to llvmdev

Please remember that the LLVM SVN server is part of the web servers, so
please don't commit files until I let you know that the web server is
back up.

[LLVMdev] Web Server Restart
Dear All,
I'll be restarting the LLVM web server in 15 minutes (i.e., at 10 am
Central Time). During the restart, all web and SVN services will be
unavailable. Please don't commit to the SVN repository while the server
is down.
I'm adding a new virtual host configuration, so the restart should cause
only momentary loss of service.
I'll send email once services are back up.

[LLVMdev] Web Server Restart
Dear LLVMers,
I'll be restarting the LLVM web server in about 15 minutes (3:30 pm
Central Time). It's a small web server configuration change, so it'll
be a quick restart. For paranoia's sake, please refrain from doing SVN
commits starting at 3:30.
I'll email once the web server is back online.

[LLVMdev] Web Server Restart
Dear All,
I will be restarting the LLVM web server tomorrow, October 21, at 10:00
am CST. We're adding a new virtual host, which necessitates a server
restart. I'll email the list about 5 minutes before restart and after
the server is back up and running. Since it's just a restart, the
server should only be down for a few minutes.

[LLVMdev] Web Server & Subversion Restart
All,
Tonight at 11pm PDT (0600 GMT) I will be restarting the LLVM project's
web server and consequently subversion access will be interrupted as
well. I expect that the restart will have the services down for only a
few minutes but please try not to access the web site or subversion for
an hour, until 12:00am PDT (0700 GMT).
The change is to support a web site per module and some experiments

[LLVMdev] Restarting Web Server
Dear All,
The LLVM web/SVN server isn't responding, so I'm going to restart it at
11:50 am CST (in about 10 minutes). Hopefully it'll just be a clean
restart of the Apache process.

Inspect a "delayed" assigned whose value throws an error?
If it was any other environment than the global, you could use substitute:
e <- new.env()
delayedAssign("foo", stop("Hey!"), assign.env = e)
substitute(foo, e)
delayedAssign("foo", stop("Hey!"))
substitute(foo)

Tripp-Lite BCPERS450 shutdown/restart problems
From: Charles Lepple <clepple at gmail.com>

The trick will be adding support for this without breaking other
models.
For whatever it's worth, Tripp lite's software does not display the
model number anywhere, so it may be treating all models the same.

testing shutdown: pc not restarting; and "ups unavailable" messages

Excellent. And in my case (default) it says
SHUTDOWNCMD "/sbin/shutdown -h +0"
I have tried that command and, as expected, it has shut down the pc. Then I have disconnected the power cord for one minute and plugged it back in,

Very long delay for shutdown.restart on usbhid-ups powercom
I'm testing a Powercom UPS (branded as Control System 2 STD80S:
http://www.cs2.it/home.php?goto=prodotti&cat=0&idp=2&subid=0) with NUT.
It is a USB HID device, with ID 0d9f:0004.
I configured nut-server to use driver usbhid-ups and it works almost
correctly: upsd communicates right with the device, upsmon catches its
events...
But when I try to perform a Forced Shutdown, UPS pauses

configured this week by our IT department, but I have not heard from
them yet. I've fired off an email to see what the status

Okay. I think it's working now. The web server was getting a lot of
traffic that was maxing out the maximum number of Apache processes, but
the traffic seems to have ceased, and a
