[LLVMdev] Services Restored
Hi,
It looks like the CVS server is still not available. When I try to
update with cvs, I get:
cvs [update aborted]: connect to llvm-cvs.cs.uiuc.edu(128.174.245.58):2401 failed: Connection refused
I know the server was down earlier this week but according to the
message below, its supposted to be restored by now.
Could someone please help?
Thanks,
Reid.

[LLVMdev] LLVM Service Restored
Dear LLVM Developers,
I am done (for tonight) working on the server, and all services should now
be restored (LLVM web site, SAFECode web site, and LLVM CVS repository).
If you find any of these services broken, please notify us by sending email
to llvmdev at cs.uiuc.edu.
Thanks, and sorry again for the interruption.
Regards,

[LLVMdev] llvm.cs.uiuc.edu Services Restored
Dear All,
Our server machine that hosts the CVS repository seems to have crashed
last night. I have rebooted it, so CVS and web services for
llvm.cs.uiuc.edu should now be operational.
If you have any other problems, please email the llvmdev list.

[LLVMdev] Power Outage at University of Illinois
Dear LLVMers,
There was a campus wide power outage today at the University of
Illinois. It took down most (if not all) computing services, including
the LLVM web/subversion server and the mailing list server.
Power has since been restored, and it appears that our IT department has
gotten the LLVM web and SVN server operating again (I went in earlier
this evening to see if the LLVM server

Also, I managed to set things up so that you can use svn diff and svn up
but not svn commit (I basically disabled commit access for everyone for
the time being).

[LLVMdev] CVS Services Restored
Dear All,
I discovered a problem with our CVS server this morning. For some
reason, the machine wasn't responding to network requests.
I rebooted the machine and it appears to be working fine now, so if you
couldn't use the LLVM website or CVS server before, you should be able
to now.

[LLVMdev] LLVM SVN Repository Offline for Maintenance Tomorrow
Hi John-
Will this also mean a purging of the llvm-commits archive, to remove the diffs
with the guilty files in them?

[LLVMdev] LLVM SVN Repository Offline for Maintenance Tomorrow
Dear LLVMers and Clangers,
We'll be doing some maintenance on the LLVM repository on Tuesday, Sept.
14 (tomorrow). There were some files committed to the repository that
we believe need to be removed from both mainline, the branches, and the
revision history.
The SVN repository will go *off-line* at 7:00 am Central Daylight
Savings time on Tuesday. Please do not make any commits after

Indeed.
I've fixed a minor problem with the OS upgrade, and CVS services seem to
be working again. You should be able to checkout and make commits
(provided you have commit access, of course) using the LLVM CVS
repositories.

[LLVMdev] Potential Downtime of LLVM Server on Jan. 6
Dear All,
Just a reminder that some work on our heating/cooling system will be
done tomorrow between 8 am - noon Central time. If server room
temperatures get too high, the IT staff will start shutting machines down.
Since the LLVM server may need to be shut down on short notice, I can't
guarantee that we can give you advance warning of it going offline. I
strongly urge everyone to
