In terms of promoting LLVM, it might be nice to actually post those on a site like youTube, where it might get more exposure -- I think that they have a 'developer' or 'software' sub-genre (like the 'Google-talk' series). -Gabe On May 29, 2007, at 3:54 PM, Chris Lattner wrote: > On Tue, 29 May 2007, Kenneth Hoste wrote: >> One minor detail: the last video

Hi Everyone, I set up a page to host the videos and slides from the meeting, and uploaded all the videos: http://llvm.org/devmtg/2007-05/index.html So far, I only have one set of slides on the page - please send me your slides! :) Also, I'd appreciate it if someone would write a blurb describing an overview of the meeting, etc at the top. Also, Scott, please let me know when it's ok

[LLVMdev] New LLVM presentation
Hi all, I just delivered an LLVM-overview presentation today. If you're interested, the slides are available here: http://llvm.org/pubs/2006-04-25-GelatoLLVMIntro.html It's pretty high-level, but it describes the design and motivation of LLVM, particularly touching on some of the capabilities that LLVM has that (say) GCC can't (at least not in the foreseeable future). -Chris --

[LLVMdev] Random notes on the llvm developer meeting
Hi Everyone, The first LLVM Developer Meeting seems to have been a great success! People are using LLVM in many interesting ways, and the excitement level seemed generally very high. Many thanks to the speakers, attendees, and organizers. I really enjoyed meeting all of you, and it's great to now be able to put faces together with names. From an informal poll, about 20% of attendees

I too am disappointed that not all talk slides are posted. To me it speaks poorly of the whole meeting since there were parallel sessions and not everyone could attend in person all the sessions they wanted to. The slides are, I thought, meant to be like the "proceedings" and If I recall some of the Apple slides are present from previous years but not this year. Vinod On Sat, Oct 17,

Hi everyone, I'm putting together a "cool projects with LLVM" page, in order to fix "bug" 175: http://llvm.cs.uiuc.edu/PR175 If you have used LLVM for a project, we would like to include your writeup/slides/quarterly results/whatever on the page to show some of the cool things that have been done with LLVM, but which aren't necessarily included in the mainline
